NOED lag spike breaking Struggle phase

PS4, Survivor side, don't have a picture or video, happened suddenly.

I was on the hook in struggle phase, I was pressing the x button the whole time. As soon as the killed downed someone, it activated noed. As soon as it activated, it temporarily, like maybe 1 second, 1.5, froze my game. I've had this happen in the past, this being temporary freezes, but by continuing the action, nothing negative occured. However, this time, the freeze killed me. Despite still struggling, I died right as the NOED activated. Don't know if this was on my side or not, thought it was a good idea to report in the event of it happening to someone else.

    This happens when a perk procs, killer gets bloodlust on the map, etc. It's a known issue, I can't remember ever playing it without this issue. Frame drops, poor optimization, issues like this remain on console, but I doubt we'll ever see a fix before the game fades off to the sunset tbh. This happens even on the PS4 Pro. How more graphically intense games will run super smooth (on PS4 or PS4 Pro) yet DBD has these basic issues is a marvel tbh lol

    It is still happening. I've died multiple times now because of it. It's getting a bit frustrating to deal with, please look at this e.o I'll post a link in a minute to show you what is happening.

    I've been trying to find if someone has a similar issue as I do and this is the first thing I found. I play on pc and every time a perk activates that has to be shown on the side (like noed) my game freezes. Not sure if related but thought I'd add a comment. Not sure what you can do to fix it sadly. If it doesn't happen to other people perhaps it's your ps4 underperforming. I don't know if dust build up can decrease your ps4's performance. (please be careful with removing dust though)
