Why it seems like it's a WAY worst than before??
I played some games as killer and noticed that they seems to get nerfed by some reason. Also a thing that already made this game terrible is a way worst now, SWF this increased a lot with this update, thats why I turned a survivor main now. The game keeps survivor sided

I dont see it at all, also I didn't saw any changes on the maps, at least on the maps that I played. The problem to the killers is because some survivors are a bit afraid of these changes and go play swf what makes this update even worst for killers

Basically. They toke off a problem but after come the consequences, action and reaction.

The "consequences" probably won't last that long, if they are even there. I would also like to point out that survivors playing with their friends is a normal part of the game that you would have to "deal with" before this patch anyway, with the added bonus of them being able to use infinites.

I don't understand the problem here, killers were not nerfed, plenty of maps had their safety reduced and it's been great. Good step for the game

But the number of SWF increased a lot, and some stuff are bugged, also HITBOXES changed if I well remember, now they respect a little more the physics

This is by far the most killer sided patch in this game since ages.
Deadzones are now everywhere, godloops are history, slower genspeed, smaller maps and so on.
Complaining now as a killer main is very entitled, dont you agree?

I try to balance both sides, but my survivor is rank 9 and my killer is rank 4 atm because I have been playing a lot of killer in my extra free time. Also, this is not at all relevant to how you feel about the patch.

Gen speeds are only slower if you stack on gens, which was already less efficient than splitting up anyways. I'm not complaining ofc, the patch is FAR too new to make any judgement, but I just wanted to point that out.

It's relevant that you should know as a rank 4 killer that SWF doesn't necessarily means loop power, but coordination what is even worst. Imagine this situation:
4swf, 1 of then is being chased by you, the three others are doing different gens, with other words, they do 3 gens in a bit more of a minute and you get only one guy downed. This is the problem with SWF it is so powerful that destroys the game imo, and Everytime you get bullied on the end of the match.

Have you ever thought about that many people want to test the new update? Of course it increases the chances of getting swf. Besides that, we have right now many bugs for both sides or maybe some more for killers idk. And as a survivor I just need to wait 2 seconds. As a killer I had do wait around 2-5 minutes. Think about that. Those maybe increased swf number, that don't know of, will soon decrease.
Btw the hole update was such a killer buff. Dk about you.

How does the amount of swf increase? I think it would be more reasonable to say that there are less solos, since the easy explanation is that they are quitting solo because it is too frustrating with this patch.

Well, basically is that what is happening, they think it is frustrating and go play with a friend. Also they might want to test this new update with their friends. Also I don't think this new patch so frustrating to survivors, I played a lot of games as survivor and I think it didn't even changed on the maps I played at least

If they have no frustration why are they quitting? If they are just trying it out the "swf surge" would be over in a matter of days.

I keep thinking this game is survivor sided. After ruin update no matter what the devs do it won't fix a lot, it's a way more frustrating go as killer even without swf. With other words it doesn't matter, I won't go back as killer

The real number are on developer hands now and forever. In the meantime we have some data from today discussion (do you remember?). If someone play as Killer he is vs some sort of SWF 1 every 2 matches.
Speaking about changes ive just finished to test the changes. I did some tests Killer Side from my std acc and alt test account lev13 (it's not to bully the survs, i give always a free exit from alt 13 acc, just to understand the differences from red ranks and if they are more terrified as surv). The (small and sometimes big) changes are there, are really Killer Friendly after ages and if you dont'see that and you are still "mad" vs SWF, that's your problem, not everyone problem.
If you still need changes because you cannot even now, after the update, to compete vs a SWF group,.... it's your problem and probably ou need to change fast your gamestyle.

Well if I'm being honest reverting Ruin would be more of a nerf...it didn't do much against half decent survivors who can consistently hit the checks. I'm not amazing at survivor and I usually miss 0-1 great skill checks a game.

I think you never tried use the old ruin with doctor, it's a way harder to hit AND they can't progress the gen for a second

Not just this about old ruin, it used to help killers with low map pressure to get a bit of pressure, but now you see clown, the worst killer, worst even than nurse. Old ruin was a way better in a lot of occasions

Corrupt intervention does the same thing, and also can't be removed in the first 30 seconds of the trial.

But it ends in 2 minutes, and with old ruin you could protect it especially as a trapper. Also corrupt just block three gens so I don't use it a lot

While every map change was good and helpful, i also have noticed lots of SWF lately. Like 3/4 matches last night were 3 man SWF

Ok let me see if i have this correctly.
The patch came out a few hours ago, 4 for me, not sure about everyone else. And you are telling us that in that time you have played enough games as both killer and survivor to determine that the SWF problem is worse and that there are no deadzones as a survivor.
Please, share with us this amazing ability to asses the entire playerbase in just a few hours.
Otherwise im kinda calling BS on this one and believe you were basically just looking for any chance to bash on SWF. I mean its okay not to like or agree with SWF, but your data kinda makes your claim seem silly.

So you might know how better old ruin was in comparison with the new one. Even Otz sometimes get 0k after this change, also ruin doesn't only affects "baby killers" as u say great killer mains felt that loss but they adapted their selfs quicker than me at least
