Fellow Survivor Mains [LETS TALK]

Lol yes! He just seems so fed up with his life. 😂

It seems really situational.
I was on Wrecker's Yard yesterday and was surprised that two of the dead space areas around the shack had zero palettes. I had the same on Gas Haven...the dead space in front of the station only had 1 palette on the far end and none by the cars closer to the station.
Yet, I was watching a stream today and that team had one in center dead space and by the car, as well as one in the station and the one in the back by the garbage can. Seems weird.
The unsafe palettes on short walls is really annoying. A 115% killer will either get a hit because you don't throw it or will get a hit over the palette because the wall is so short and Killers have hit priority.
All in all though, today was not too bad so far. But TBH, it's because almost every killer I had today didn't camp or tunnel. The one time I was camped, I was the last person to get hooked after the gens were done. I was first hook, so it sucked. But at least the entire match before that was no camp/tunnel...so, hard to complain.

Look guys they're getting a posse together lmao! Here come the killer nerfs.
0 -
Thing is there are several maps that were changed that are still or now survivor favored. Like the Temple
0 -
Killer main btw
0 -
Yeah... Thats not what this is about.
But nice try, try again later.

The op of this thread is wanting people to give each other advice, no posse is being formed, this is just a thread to help each other out.

sometimes the truth is blasphemous

I love the new changes I use to die alot (cuz my dumb ass can't loop🙃🙃) but these new changes helped me more with stunning the killer y'know. Dont hate me for saying this if u hate these if I did I'm so sorry have good day 🙃🙃🤘🖖
0 -
idk how this could be true, if you were bad at it before, but if this is your experience, I'm glad. 😂
0 -
Is that a good thing or a bad thing 😂😂🤨🤨

Not a survivor main but I play both sides equally and I'm red rank on them too. I think as of right now, all we can really do is be very stealthy or if we get into a chase, just learn to optimize loops as much as possible and if you're not feeling a stealth build, try going for a vaulting one since vaulting seems to have improved this patch.
2 -
I honestly didn't see any issues with how things were before. I escaped sometimes and I got killed 2 minutes into a trial. still believe that these changes were unnecessary because complaining killers chose chase survivors they couldn't catch, instead of finding an easier target to chase. But, this is where we are. I can't loop to save my life, but can evade a killer at times. I run a stealth build, was thinking of running Urban Evasion with Sprint Burst for both stealth and mobility, but for now, I'll see how things go with the updates.
1 -
Based on my experience - best approach is currently to become a Jake main and sabotage hooks and helping people wiggle off whilst someone is doing gens lol
1 -
So what would be an ideal vault build?
I'm guessing Lythe of course, maybe Spine Chill and what else?
0 -
Lol. I just bought my Jake a new outfit too. Might as well try this as well.

I've noticed that gens have been spawning too close together in some maps, if you get the opportunity to, the best move is to bloom out the repairing of the generators, first fix the odd 3 that are too close together in the center, and then move onto the others.
1 -
I thought they spawned pretty close together too. I agree with getting the 2-3 gens closest to each other, although it can be difficult if the Killer keeps pressure on em.
1 -
Thank you, Unicorn. This is honestly really tough on us survivors, and after playing my first match I noticed the survivor vault and overall movement speed seems slower. The breakable walls on some of the loops are RIDICULOUS and cut chases way too short. If the survivor knows how to run a good loop, they deserve to run that loop for as long as they can. The fact that the killers need their hands held by the shortened EVERYTHING is just hilarious.
In conclusion, I feel as though these survivor nerfs were absolutely not needed. there weren't that many pallets to begin with ever since that one nerf and now everything is just empty space, with trees and debris. AKA, no protection, which obviously isn't fair. I might go on my own rant on my own page, but I am needless to say not very happy with this patch.

I'm sorry people have tried to derail your topic of discussion and strats sharing with flame wars, they're oddly often the same crowd that would tell survivors to just adapt.
Nonetheless, I've been using spine chill in every survivor because it just became a hard counter to everything, mainly if I pair it with urban evasion/fixated which allows me to move away quickly without leaving scratches.
1 -
No problem hun 💜 I do agree the whole strip down of Structures and Pallets seems a little unneeded. The vaults are supposed to be fixed though. You're still having issues with vault speed? My vaults have been okay. Still kinda dealing the slow vault bs but overall they seem decent. Try running a build with Lythe and Spine Chill.
1 -
Its okay, and yes they are but I'm here to slay any behavior that decides to derail and/or slander this thread with such phrases. This isn't what the thread is about, its either you leave advice/tips or keep it scrolling onto the next thread.
But anyway, yes I agree. Spine Chill never leaves my Loadout. Run it with Lythe and Resilience for Window vaults and you're pretty much good in chases. For stealth, I've been running Urban Evasion, Spine Chill, Iron Will, and Sprint Burst just in case I need to run. If I'm doing really well with being immersed I remove Sprint Burst and place something like Poised (for no scratch marks) or Calm Spirit just in case we have a Doctor or the Killer is running Spies.

Because a good stun is a good start to juke the killer. This opinion might change once the killers start adepting, though.

Lol - had to do it for two games for my challenge - it was fun but the killer definitely had it out for me in both games because of it

Exactly

Stealth is the way to go. Maybe don't wear the neon cosmetics and try blending baby!
1 -
Resilience helps with vault speed, I’d use it for a vault build.
1 -
This is either bait or a survivor main who never played killer. The patch is OVERWHELMINGLY Survivor sided:
The extremely faster vaults make it so even a newbie can loop a 2kh+ killer;
They ruined Hillbilly, a perfect killer for his skill/reward ratio, and for some reason Wraith too. It's only a bad update for entitled survivors who can win only by using cheap tactics
0 -
I play both sides and this isn’t correct, I’ve had no problem getting 4k’s as killer and I’ve haves killers who killed me despite me looping them, this was a pretty good patch for both sides, some glaring issues are billy and the huntress hatchet scoring bug but otherwise I haven’t noticed anything too horrible.
2 -
I played a load of survivor yesterday and today and I really don't see the huge, dramatic differences people are talking about. There's a few more deadzones and the tiles are clearly further apart but I didn't see anything insane even on ormond or thompson house etc. I haven't had to turn into a blendette to escape either.

Survivors are still bad, yet I bet anything the 3am survivors are gonna laugh so hard when the killer can't get one kill because the loops are now sooooo easy! I played 1 game as survivor and I could tell the difference right away. Also, now that the game is brighter knowing where the killer is at any time is so simple. I'm telling you, killers are doomed and survivor lobbies will be truly infinite
0 -
My vault build would go something along the lines of Spine Chill, Resilience, Iron Will, and Dead Hard for 15% faster vaulting speed and being able to survive more effectively while injured.
1 -
I’ve played killer and survivor at several different times and people still get 4Ks, if you lose then you got outplayed, simple as that. Also, one game as survivor isn’t a very good sample size to say if survivor is too easy currently or not.
Also, why not tell people how you loop the new tiles then? The point of this thread is for advice after all.
2 -
Isn't it clear that I'm a Survivor main? I mean the title of the thread says it all forehead. You must be a beginner leveled Killer if you feel this patch was heavily Survivor sided because of vaults being fixed. This patch was balanced for both sides, the only thing is Survivors got the short end of the stick with dead-zones and we're all willing to adapt to overcome the problem. Thats all.
This thread is for advice/tips and you've offered neither so dismiss yourself.

Aw okay :/
-tosses Claud's pink jacket into a pit of fire-
0 -
its very simple: i will never ever again play solo survivor. only swf. the game is actually perfect for me now: when i play killer i always win, when i play survivor its the same :D
0 -
I'm not a surv main kid. I'm playing both sites since 6000h and I'm just saying what I'm thinking
0 -
your post literally says fellow survivor mains but nvm,not gonna bother
0 -
Dead zones are annoying but honestly if you just avoid them all together you'll be fine. I personally still find it almost the exact same looping killers as it was before. I can still outrun killers like I did before even with these dead zones. But the new update definitely made stealth a more viable option. Blendettes rise up!
0 -
To start with vaults were ''fixed'' they didn't touch the base speed of the action , they just make it so u no longer lag out
Billy its a bug and for Wraith its just the animation that makes it look ''slower'' but actually isn't it (I think someone in a thread share this can't really remember)
And by this u sound so entitled to killer. Cuz if u think this patch is ''overwhelmingly'' survivor sided, then u clearly don't play both sides equally

Trapper Main 69 here,
I approve of all changes.
0 -
I’ve seen a difference but its not as bad, if you and your team use pallets carefully, as it should be you wont have that big problems with deadzones
0 -
Then I guess my tip would be: Learn to get used to the new setups and how to get good with them
I mostly play survivor and I can say with confidence, that when I go up against a "not good killer" I feel bad
