First look of The Killers Tomes for escalation
I haven't completed the survivors yet so I'm just going to be unraveling what I think about the first two story sections for The Killers.
A lovely war: honestly I love it very little is actually known about Anna thought processes.
However I do find an incredibly interesting she seems to view humans almost specifically the Soldiers as animals ( yes I know humans are animals but I mean in the same sense that a hunter will view a deer.
I always thought that she essentially had the mind of a child but it seems that she's a lot more feral in a sense than mentally stunted. It's definitely interesting as she receives almost everything is Hunter analysing deer even if it is actual people.
Soldiers of Mayhem: For the love of retcon what the hell is happening with the Legion's backstory.
First off the original lore only reference to Susie as being Julie's best friend not Joey I don't know where the heck that came from.
But I can chalk this up to them trying to make the the group more of a consistent and connected group before Frank entered rather than having Joey just decided to join. Essentially making him more than just random party goer.
It seems that at least for now Julie is the initial brains of the legion or creator at least not only bad but she's incredibly dark and twisted without Frank's influence.
This is kind of annoying as I did like the idea of Frank being the person who twisted these three teenagers with different personalities into becoming this gang of hoodlums who do more and more severe crimes until one final act that gets them caught by The Entity.
Now at this stage it seems that Julie was more on board of the chaos then Frank was.
This is something I've noticed with the Legion's cosmetic prescriptions but they're trying to break away from the three twisted innocence innocence concept. (Susie stabbing someone and wanting to make people suffer for having joy) definitely a major departure from shy and naive girl.
Final thoughts
Legion being my secondary main I definitely have more of an opinion on them as I do like the concept, lore, design and everything I just hope they still managed to retain their original premise. (Frank being a person who managed to twist a shy geeky girl, preppy party girl and show off edgelord into being this ragtag group at his beckon call.)
Also nice to know that Julie's last name is Kostenko hopefully we can get last names for the other members of the Legion too
Huntress: honestly I hope this keep so I don't really have any downsides of it you guys are doing an amazing job I like the new spin you've given her.

I for one enjoy the idea of Julie being much more violent than we originally thought. Almost every female killer in the game so far was either the victim in their respective story only to eventually exact revenge, or were involved in some kind of tragic event. The only female killer we have who is as malicious as a large portion of the male killers is Amanda and even than she may have some kind of traumatic reason behind her actions.(I wouldn't know as I haven't watched any of the Saw movies)

I really enjoy Julie's lore, I love she has this dark thoughts, showing Frank her twisted tastes
Also, it make me realize of something I was wrong, I always thought Julie hang out with Frank because he could get her out of Ormond, but now I see she really likes her
