If you're looking for good perks, Plague.
If you're looking for a strong killer, Freddy and Hillbilly are great choices.

Which killer do you like to play? I picked a main killer to play and then decided which perks I needed for my build. Some perks work good on one killer but are completely worthless on another.

For perks, I’d say either plague (infectious fright and corrupt intervention), Myers (dying light and save the best for last), or doctor (monitor and abuse).

Ghostface is fun, he does well with a lot of perks. If you'd like to keep BBQ and pop which are great perks on a lot of killers, then go with nurse's calling and corrupt intervention. Ghostface needs a little bit of time to find and stalk survivors which you get from corrupt and pop. Nurse's is great because with an active night shroud you can sneak up on injured survivors and get an easy down. (perks are from the nurse and the plague)
On hag Make your choice is strong, if they trigger a trap when they rescue someone from the hook you can teleport and insta down the savior. Monitor and abuse to sneak up and that pairs up nicely with nurse's calling. I like sloppy butcher to extend the healingtime to gain distance when I see them with nurse's. But hag does well even without perks. (perks are from the pig, doctor and nurse. sloppy is a general perk)
There are loads of good viable options on all killers so I recommend reading the forum and watching good streamers on twitch or youtube to see what works best. You should also look into the add-ons because they can change what perks are good. You'll get better at picking good perks and add-ons when you play a certain killer more often.

Since you already have BBQ and pop goes the weasel I would pair that with enduring and spirit fury. BBQ for detection, POP to slow down gens and enduring/ spirit fury to end chases faster. So that means leveling up spirit and the hillbilly.
Another option is play with your food combined with nemesis, this increases movement speed (=shorter chase) while nemesis ensures that you don't lose your obsession. Then you need to level up myers and oni.
