Billy red add-on ideas
Hey people, today imma talk about some red add-on ideas for Billy, let's start with the first one:
Your chainsaw produces no sound.
If your chainsaw produces no sound it would be great for mind games and make Billy somewhat stealthy. It could be op in chases so let's say it produces sound only within 16 meters of range or terror radius.
Tremendously increase steering while using your chainsaw. Billy can't break pallets.
This way the power will only be used for mobility and chases. You could run around the map infinitely but you can't break pallets. Neat!

Billy's chainsaw sound being global instead of directional already kinda makes him stealthy, I've been instadowned by a charging billy more than once simply because he didnt come from the direction I last saw him in and he moved too fast for me to react. So if you gonna add that, then billy's normal sounds need to be directional again.
With proper practice, you can already steer Billy over 90 degrees. Which is why a lot of people say that Bubba is simply a very weak Billy. Billy can do the same things Bubba can, adding even easier steering to the point where he replaces Bubba fully leaves no reason for people to even want to touch Bubba.
Besides, his current addons are already very good, adding those ones would simply be overkill.

They either way gonna rework his add-ons, so I suggested some red add-on ideas. I think that stealth Billy could work, you don't know if he's chainsawing or not, you stay on the gen or leave? The only counters are spine chill, seeing him coming and great game knowledge. The second add-on makes Billy a somewhat scary character to face in loops. This makes it so he can turn a bit more than 90 degrees and with a second add-on for steering would be perfection. I don't want any hard viable add-ons tbh, I'm just in the normal red add-on mindset: nurse has one blink, but can blink only in line of sight places, spirit can run fast while phasing but can't see scratch marks, hag can teleport in every trap, but has a cooldown ect.

First addon would be fine,maybe increase the 16m to 24m. Second one,dunno. It depends how much steering would you give him.

I didnt catch them reworking Billy's addons. Most of them are fine as they are. There are only 3-4 extremely strong addons in combination with each other(practically 0 stun and insta revs), the rest is pretty much fine as they are.

they're going to give him two ultra rares anyway for consistency, they do that with every new and reworked killer. Also they're definitely gonna nerf some of his charge time reduction ones.

huh, I always thought his very rare addons were his ultra rares. So odds are likely they are just gonna make his very rares ultra rare after minor alterations.

The first idea is good if you just mute his chainsaw entirely. Stealth Billy sounds fun.
Second idea is rough. Real rough. It doesn't have any flavor imo, what type of object could you correlate to making a chainsaw not shred wood but instead be very easy to maneuver? Plus, it's pretty useless because his curves are already insane.
My idea to replace your second one would be that his chainsaw shreds through pallets without stopping him but his chainsaw no longer instadowns. Could be fun.

Thought about that but speed limitor actually cancels the downside. My thrid option was to completely disable the stuns when he hits an object (walls for example) but he has a cooldown after using his chainsaw (I call it overheat) based on how many seconds it was used (for example if it was used for a second it has a 0.5 second delay, if it was used for 15 seconds it has a 7.5 second delay). What this is, basically, is that he is ready to hit after he's done chainsawing. He will chainsaw around the map and when he is done he has a free m1 or he can wait to use m2. If you just cancel your chainsaw instead of bump into something it won't change anything, you'll get the cooldown and do the animation. If you bump into something you just won't have a stun and you will be able to continue normally (the chainsaw sprint tho will stop)

I'd prefer if his add-ons had more utility or changed his playstyle a bit. Most pink add-ons do this.
I think a cool pink add-on would be one where he can chainsaw a pallet and keep going. That would be interesting.

Speed Limiter
A Mechanical device that limits the amount of fuel small engines can intake at once time, forcing a constant and safe speed.
- Chainsaw hits do not automatically trigger the Dying State.
- Tremendously decreases Chainsaw Sprint Movement Speed.
- Full turning control during Chainsaw Sprint.

i always wanted one that gave him full control over his chainsaw (while still keeping his 230% mms forward momentum going, so he cant just walk around the map normally with his chainsaw active). therefore you have an tremendously increased stun time when you hit objects.
