Stop blaming DS for lack of strategy.
Im honestly sick and tired of seeing the complaints about DS. I'm a 6k hour killer main with 16.5k kills yes i know this matter little. Ds does NOT affect my games in the least. sure... there are situations when i get dsd in the gate and they escape BUT.... It VERY rarely gets to endgame. i'm not trying to say i'm the greatest killer in the world but the only time it gets to endgame is when im facing that 0.5% 4 stack on comms with metas. it really isn't the perk that's a problem its your strat and swf breaks the game if the survivors are really good at the game. SLug em it's still map pressure not as good as a hook, but still pressure. just play the game guys you win you win you lose you lose. it is that simple

Sorry but I don't believe you. If you truly have 6k hours in the game then you would know how problematic and abusable DS is. Pretty much everyone has a problem with DS. Ask people like Noob3, Monto, Tru3, Otz, and so on, most will say DS needs changes.

I can confirm he has 6k hours. And he's not even the highest time played on Xbox either, he's like 5th or lower.
Everyone you listed is not actually as good at the game as you think.

Also both True and Noob use DS all the time. If they really believed it was a problem then they would abstain from using it.

Your personal feelings for them don't matter lol. The point is these and many other top leveled players who play both sides would agree that DS needs changes. Look past the name and look at the point.

Its not problematic for me at all. its situational. I have no issue getting downs or tracking other survivors so slugging someone and allowing them back up isn't an issue for me. If you would like me to prove my time played i can screenshot my stats for ya no problem. Like i said the only time its a problem is endgame and it only gets to endgame when its a 4stack depip squad. The perk itself ISN'T problematic its SWF. but that's another story for another time.

lol This game isn't a competitive game, it's not an e-sports game, it's not part of the AAA Gaming E-Sport Games, ANYONE can be a top player.
I can be a top player, so can you, so can many individuals on this forum, and please don't quote streamers who make up about .05% of the Dead by Daylight playerbase because that's not valid. I'm a great player myself, killer and survivor and you don't see me streaming.
DS is fine, learn to slug, count to 60, know who was recently unhooked.

Here comes the "just leave them for 60 seconds" argument that isn't valid lol. If you played killer at red ranks you would know that leaving someone for 60 seconds will guarantee a loss. DS is a problem and the devs have said they are working on changes too DS because of how problematic it is. it's been almost a year since they've said this but they are working on it, so clearly it is a problem whether you see it or not lol.

i dont understand were this is going, firstly i never asked you to prove time played or questioned it, i simply said that the people mentioned would moan about DS because they are very toxic on the game. i have played against most of them a number of times and they are very VERY bad losers

I am a Red Rank killer and Red Rank survivor.
And no, you don't leave them for 60 seconds, you slug and leave them for 60 seconds. They're not invincible, slugging is a great strategy. Killers slug all the time at 1 gen, so ######### is the issue of slugging a survivor when they're so phobic about getting a 5 second stun.

Killers that have an issue with it are killers that allow themselves to have an issue with it.
If you know there's an obsession and you're not running obsession perks, someone has DS and that's when your gameplay changes and you have to be more aware during the match. No one forces you to pick a survivor up when they've been recently unhooked, no one forces you to open that locker when they jump in it. Simple go for the unhooker if you were camping the hook.
I don't understand the logic of some killers when there are counters to this perk and it's a 1 time use. How the hell is a 1 time use, 5 second stun perk affecting their gameplay. My God.

Nothing even to do with that. True and Otz both frequently make massive mistakes. They don't need to play perfectly as much as they need to not royally mess up.

Personally, the only thing I have against DS is during EGC. DS is strong by itself, but in EGC, it becomes an incredibly powerful tool. It's a pain working around DS and BT during that stage, I've had survivors body block near the gate, to let the others escape, knowing they themselves have DS and I can't do anything about it.

Almost just as bad. At least the other killers have to earn the hits instead of throwing hatchets in the survivor's general direction and getting downs.

I do agree with you to an extent. When a survivor has DS and waits at the gate just to DS you that's bull #########. But I've said before that if you use DS while the gates are opened you get 20 seconds of a personal Blood Warden just to stop people from being toxic. You'd have to escape another chase to actually get out of the trial.
But everything else about the perk is fine how it is. This isn't even an issue of balance, it's an issue of toxicity.

I agree that you should lose for massive mistakes, my issue is that multiple survivor perks can get you out of losing for those mistakes and the closest killer perk that does that is noed. One perk to a multitude of survivors perks that can turn a game around, some even more so than noed

If you know how to not tunnel, DS is literally non-existent. They do gens in front of you with DS? Hit them then slug, slug is literally the most efficient way to extend the game more than hook. They go in locker? Leave them, why tunnel them? Go pressure the gens. If you see a problem in DS, that only means you are a tunneler and you just want ez tunnels. Seriously, develop a brain or stfu

I wish these people would play against the full red rank survivor lobbies with a killer that isn't S tier. Even if you are slaying, the game is going to be over in 3-4 minutes. You can spawn in, walk to a gen, 2 tap a survivor, and that will cost you the first generator.
Then you got the survivors being invincible for 2 minutes of the game? Balanced perk. It's why I use the very balanced mori's any chance I get.

There are other options. I have a very evil build for Spirit that is basically all the anti-heal perks stacked with MDR/Amulet. No amount of "overpowered" survivor perks can be that, I'm very confident in saying this.
Additionally, you can just play like a massive jerk. Slug, camp, tunnel. When its valid of course, doing it outside of tactical reasons will have you lose.
Case and point I had one game as Spirit where they were trying to bully me. I caught the Claud and put her in shack basement. I camped her, forced an unsafe rescue, slugged her, got the guy that saved, hooked them, camped her and the slug. One tried to save so I slugged him. The last guy was already injured and when I found them, the third guy use Unbreakable. I left the 4th guy, went back and slugged the UB guy again, then caught the last guy trying to make the rescue. GG
I've won a bunch of games I should have lost by just playing super scummy. That's all you gotta do to beat these perks and to a lesser extent SWF.

i play every killer and tbh demogorgon clown and deathslinger are the only killers i struggle with so i mean what're you trying to say?? i think what you meant to say was go up against a full rank 1 swf with metas not just ds.. cause swf IS the problem not the perks.

Slugging is your option, or you can just eat the DS and get it over it. It's a 1 Time Use Perk and people seem to have a problem with it.
You only have an issue with it if you let it, if you can't control your tunneling then you deserve the Stun.

Typical braindead meg main. You can't even accept that huntress hitboxes are broken, as they always have been. There are entire threads on this forum dedicated to how broken and easy they are. Just slap on a crosshair and you are a huntress god. Ask ralph.
No, the perks are the problem. There is no time to 12 hook against meta survivors who actually do gens if you are not playing a killer like nurse or spirit. With meta perks you can't slug, you can't camp, you can't tunnel. So you are forced into trying the 12 hook but it won't work when a single hook can take a minute against a survivor who is actually good.

No these guys were good I just played like a massive jerk is all. The Claud led me on a chase, as Spirit, for a solid 3 gens (mainly because she was Blendette on Coldwind with purple fog so she was hard as ######### to track). They had 1 gen left when I won the game (I forced them into a sort of 3 gen by camping Claud at the basement because there was a gen in shack and 2 more close enough for me to phase). They had the entire meta perk set. They played really well. I just got 2 of them in a bad position and took full advantage of it. If they had done one of those gens instead I don't think I could have won, but I forced them to mess up over and over and won.
I had another game as GF against a 3man (possible 4man, 3 had the same clan tag) on Ironworks. The Ash was REALLY good at looping and super hard to catch. I played like a jerk and tunneled/camped his 2 friends who were gen jockeys and not as good in a chase. I eventually killed them, then caught Ash right after the gate was opened. Steve got out, but I got the 3k on the 3 man clan. Again I won against a solid team by playing like a jerk. Steve almost got caught too. I got a 3k, a solid pip, and like 25k BP. That's a win, is it not?
