Borrow Time should be given to all survivors
Borrow time should be given to all survivors without needing a perk.
As a solo q survivor (rank 6 currently) i find it incredibly unfair to be in a situation where you are the first one found and downed, and then the killer just tunnels you till your last hook. And i down pip because of something completely out of my control.
Not saying you need the full time the perk gives you but anything would be helpful. 10 seconds is good start time id say.
That would deter tunnelling as they would spend to much time in that chase and would give survivors a chance off the hook against bad killers.

mm, I don’t think so. BT is a great perk, you aren’t wasting a perk slot with it. so it’s worth it to run it. you shouldn’t get BT base + 4 perks. BT + 3 other perks is already good.
I think all survivors should level up Bill first. unbreakable + BT teachables is great on all survivors.

It was in your control. Finding the first survivor snd then doing that chase is the hardest part of the game for killer. Hide better at the start, dont start working on a gen till you see someone else get smacked, get better in chases, run ds. If you do all of that and the killer is still tunneling you chances are 4 gens have popped. Even if you do depip, so what thats a W. The kilker knows it, you know it.

It should work on you and only you. So if you get unhooked, you get the bt, but if you unhook someone they don't get it.

I don't know what the answer is, but it's easy to sympathize. Or, just from a functional point of view, if survivors have no incentive for playing out a losing scenario, then they will sometimes choose to DC, in which case everyone loses in a sense. You can't compel someone to keep playing if they don't want to play, and that is often the effect of a camping/tunneling strategy. Not to mention it's boring and braindead. DbD inspires cynical, even misanthropic thoughts. The game makes available countless builds to fuel experimentation and innovation, but a majority of people - killers and survivors - choose to be boring, predictable, mediocre. The killer version of this is camping and tunneling. The fact that the game now relies on a penalty system to discourage people from quitting is symptomatic of the erosion of the social contract that we agree to when we play a match, especially with randoms. I suppose the DbD player base gets the game we deserve. Most people are boring, so the game rewards that kind of play style.

There is no such as being "out played" by someone who comes back to down you as you come off a hook when you're injured. THAT is OP and a free down.

No borrowed time shouldnt be given to every player. Maybe they can change that the hooked person should use the perk for the borrowed time effect. This way you dont rely on your teammate when they do An unsafe unhook.

This actually isn't a bad idea. The only down side it's harder to get safe unhooks for WGLF and other things if the killer is camping or patrolling.
