Easy Fix For Mori's And Key's

Wanna know a fast way to end all the problems with Mori's and Key's?

  1. Change Mori's to require the survivor to be hooked twice before you can kill them by your hand.
  2. Key's can no longer spawn in chests during a match.
  3. Using a key on the hatch only allows the survivor that used the key to escape via the hatch.

Other than that everything works as normal. The Killer can kill a survivor by their own hand without bringing them to a hook the third time, and Survivors can bring key's into match's to use the hatch early. Also the hatch will still open when there is one survivor remaining for the players not good enough at the game, and need the crutch to escape. While Killer's can still use Rancor, and Hex: Devour Hope for the players not good enough at the game to down survivors and need the crutch to get kills.

@Devs Just change the hatch animation to close again when the survivor that uses a key jumps in.

I can only agree with 2. 1 would just kill Moris (seriously, what's even the point of using them if you can only use them when survivors are already dead?) and 3 would make an achievement impossible to get.

everyone has their own opinion but i don't think there's anything wrong with keys or mori's, they're the only thing that still make the game decently exciting after a while, getting to both mori or be mori'd is honestly the only ######### refreshing thing in this game that makes you go "FUUUCK" as a survivor in a relatively exciting way depending on the mood, and the same can be said as a killer with hatches.

The thing is, Mori's and Keys are rare, which is what makes them exciting. Honestly i don't understand why people sook over them, it rarely happens and when it does, it adds an element of 'oh damn' to both sides. Anyone who is that triggered by it shouldn't even be playing the game because of the buggy ######### mess DBD is in the first place.

The issue with keys is that you can get one by searching crates.

Imagine if killers could randomly get a Memento Mori mid-trial. Would that be fair in any way?

Too bad you can't find offerings in chests thouhgt right ? Oh wait we forgot the Mori is an offering ? Imagine Surviviors having an offering that blocks the basement for example. That'd be cool !

Why are keys and Moris not comparable, based on their effects?

EDIT: Hell, if anything, that just makes it worse, since survivors can literally find an item that can guarantee at least one escape through pure RNG while the killer can do nothing about it. There's no warning, no way to prevent it. At least Moris "show up" at the start (as secret offerings, but still, it's almost always a Mori of some kind), so survivors can play around that.
