It is the most annoying thing I ever discovered on this game, kills it and it ######### stressful. I wish devs put a swf allow option it would be better

If there was a swf allow option, no one would play against swf, giving swf insane q times, resulting in swf quiting, worse q times for everyone.

My tip for playing agaisnt a tryhard swf is either just mess around with your power, Such as only hatchets or only chainsaw or just facecamp them if there toxic

There is none. Devs will never hinder SWF because it's a big cashcow.

The only counter is to stop playing, literally.

Just play the game. Only because they are SWF does not make them godlike players all of the sudden. If they are a really strong SWF they would give you a hard time as Solos anyway.

Camping usually works if they're too focused on trying to unhook. If two survivors are trying to unhook a third, that leaves 1 survivor who's actually working on the generators.

However, if they play 100% efficiently and have every second-chance perk, there's nothing you can do. Might as well face a corner (to deny them flashlight blinds, because they will definitely try to get them) and make yourself a sandwich for 5-10 minutes.

Scared of other players? Play solo games. Seriously? Those unreasonable rants get out of hand. Killers on this forum are truly crybabies.

the counter to swf is just playing good as killer

unless they’re a sweaty kind of 4man with all second chance perks with god tier looping, you should be able to beat them

if you can dodge the lobby

if you sence they are but wanna face them anyways bring spirit or huntress and your best perks, and don't feel bad for camping or tunneling

they don't care about your fun soo why should you care about theirs?

Coldwind farm, 3 flashlights, trying to play as nurse. It's not going to happen

Thats not true, not all swf are unbeatable, and the ones that are super efficient can still lose if you drag someone into the basement and camp the crap out of them 🤷‍♂️

Cuz camping is too boring. I can't just sit down in a place, and I can't tunnel borrowed time

Why are you always so triggred? I am survivor sided in my posts and comments but your just full on bias, not just this post specifically but in all your posts

If a camp one in the basement they probably will finish the gens and then save him with borrowed time

thats... literally the one killer that can beat anything in the game

nurse ignores everything, and if youre good enough youll just win every match

Have you tried teleporting in the corn fields? There's no frame of reference. You have no idea if you overshot or undershot.

You do have to be good at landing shots, if someone tries going down in the basement on me theyre trading. And more than once ive had them mess up and i wind up with 2 or 3 in the basement. Occasionally they all get away but thats gotten pretty rare. Dont face camp, camp above so you hit them going down

I suck as nurse, especially after this update that makes she and her add-ons a way weaker

Triggered? I show them their own stupidity. I dont care for any side, which is probably really obvious if you are able to comprehend this games design.

There is no way to counter SWF. In fact, it's a borderline cheating counter to a lot of killer perks and abilities, such as Knockout or the Undetectable status.

Basically, if a SWF team wants to win, they will because the game is massively stacked in their favour. It's so stacked in their favour that they can "waste" perks like DS/Unbreakable and play super dumb and still all escape unless you are the best nurse/spirit in the game. But gen speeds counter these killers as well so against "I HATE LOSING!!!!!!!!!!!" teams you will only get 1 kill in a 4 minute match if you're lucky.

But the game is massively stacked in their favour, so losing to a sweaty swf is like not winning the lottery. Of course, most of those teams don't see it that way because they want to pretend they actually accomplished something, but if you've ever talked to a tournament player they fully acknowledge the BS that is SWF. Well, most do.

(I'm going to go on a limb and assume the SWF groups mentioned are optimal.)

My best tip to counter SWF groups is to take advantage of their altruism. Most SWF teams tend to act dumber than most coordinated Solo groups because they know when to call out for saves and when to call out for heals. They also know when to call out for pallet and flashlight saves.

As such, you need to basically play as dirty as possible. Force them to go for Survivors who are slugged, force them to waste their perks such as Unbreakable and DS way early into the game so they can never use it around endgame, and start kicking people off the game one by one. Always focus on the weakest link because even the worst player in DBD can hold M1 on a Generator for 80 seconds and they are a liability.

If there is an obvious weak player in the group, make sure they die as quickly as possible so you can focus on the stronger runners in the group. Of course don't go out of your way to tunnel them, you'll lose faster that way. Spread the pressure evenly throughout all 4 survivors, keep them occupied on things that are not generators, keep injuring them to force them to heal, keep downing them to force them to be slugged, and keep hooking them to force them to save. Use perks like Surveillance to keep generators in check and make them never feel safe to touch a generator.

In short, be as "unfun" and as "boring" as possible. You're playing this to win, you need to play tactics that the other side will find dull and boring. And if they feel that way, that's on them. But don't let them guilt you into giving mercy, never ever give them mercy unless you are feeling nice. Always keep them on their toes, make them equally as stressed if not more and make them frustrated that they have to go against an optimal killer because that is realistically the only way to deal with Survivors who would play optimally.

It's alright if you want to play a strong Killer if you suspect your opponents are playing a SWF. What's most important is that you have fun, and if you know you can't have fun if you're playing the Killer you chose right now when versing a SWF Group, then go ham and show them no mercy.

Always remember to play fair, but when it comes to groups that wants to play Optimally, play Optimally in return. Sometimes you'll get extra bonus salt, which goes well with the meat you'll be cooking from their corpses.

I agree. I went against a 4-man SWF and they would tbag every pallet. If I was chasing one, the other three were doing gens together. I finally downed one and put them in the basement. All three bodied, tried to blind me, and everything they could to unhook the person. I know some people will argue it could have been a solo team, but they messaged me afterwards and told me that even though I camped the hook in the basement, it was the right play with how they were playing. After said and done, I ended up getting two of them. So, while it’s frustrating, it’s not impossible. I’m not one that one camps or tunnels, but at times playing more aggressive is warranted as killer.

Yeah when you have a super efficient team your hands are tied. You have to play mean/aggressive. Who i feel sorry for are the people i play after that. Im still in full on try hard mode after playing a good swf, and if youre not that and i have my try hard f you hat on its bad for them

This, or you could play a meme/endgame build. They want to rush, let them. They'll see the error of their ways soon enough.

    Stop spreading this lie, please.

Like...seriously, not everyone can just pick up Nurse and 4k with her.

its not a lie, Nurse has the potential to 4k every game

also, notice how i said “if you're good enough”, if you aren't good at nurse it obviously doesn't apply
