Prestige rewards Q&A stream
in the Q&A stream there was a question about getting rewards for prestiging
and the devlopers said there will be something in the future. because im trying to get all my survivor and killers to P3 right now just wondering if i should wait? or did they mean something else with prestige rewards?

I would p3 the characters you really like for now wait until they announce what these rewards are and if they happen to be skins i would go through and continue p3ing something tells me these prestige rewards won't be timed like legacy was i could be wrong on that.

I would hope that anyone who is already prestiged before the reward update would get the rewards. It would be super lame otherwise.

Most likely with the move to servers it makes it a lot easier to track prestige's and i would assume it would be able to know if a character has been p3'd

They will not screw over those people who have already prestiged.
It will be a minor reward tho, maybe just a Charm. So I would not have high expectations.

Hey who knows these could be a new set of prestige skins we'll just have to wait and see the hype around prestige variations has been around since legacy ended it wouldn't shock me if the developers were looking to add more skins to the pool of prestige and maybe more who knows

Personally I would love to have some BP-Multiplier per Prestige Level. But it would be pretty minor.
Because, in fact, getting a Character from P0 to P3 does not cost that many BPs, at least compared to get all Perks on a Character. This ######### is expensive as #########.
I am going to P3-50 all Perks every Character in the game, and I almost cried after I have checked that I need 30 more Bloodwebs to finish Ace, lol.

Im not expecting a response but just fyi it would be really awesome if it were a x% bps applied at after the trial. Like p1= +25%, p2= +50% and p3 = 75%. Would make the grind for other p3 characters a little more bearable

That is an interesting idea on paper, although I do think that would discourage people from playing different characters. If you only had Trapper at P3, for example, you wouldn't want to switch to your P0 Hillbilly even though you might have more fun purely because you'd get way less points.
It might also be a bit unfortunate for the people who don't have time to P3 all of their characters, since they would be getting far fewer points.

Fair point, I just threw out numbers, maybe smaller percentage would be fairer. I think the type of person that wants to p3 everyone also wants to play as everyone, but I could just be speaking for myself idk.

Well, to turn around a bit, how about a reduction in cost to items in the bloodweb?

I seriously doubt they will force you to prestige and lose everything.
The rewards will be specifically there to REWARD those willing to sacrifice all perks and item that they unlocked to have something "unique".
If you are not willing to lose everything 3 times on your character you do not "deserve" the reward.
Or you could even, you know, consume all the items you have on your character before prestiging it.

if they come up with prestiege 4 I sure as hell don't want to lose over 600 items on my character

what do you do with your p3 character if they bringing p4,p5,p6 as legacy ? :p

They've said multiple times before that they won't be giving anyone else legacy, because they want it to be special to the people that have it.
A shame I never got mine, but it's almost impossible to prove I p1'd trapper before the rework so I just deal with it.

Do players who’ve had P3 since 2017 have the same or different rewards? Also will players who have all characters P3 maxed out receive a bonus in some way?

If you're already at P3 yeah it would suck, but I don't think they will do something like P4, I guess it's gonna be something cosmetic like a charm or some IG bonus like a slight bloodpoints multiplier or something like that
Maybe they could even slightly tweak the teachables so that like if you have Bond on a P3 Dwight the perk radius is a little bit bigger (this would open a can of worms in terms of balancing tho)

Well maybe tweaking the numbers that @Dead_by_Gadfly proposed it could work
Maybe you could find a bit less appealing playing with a P0 Hillbilly if you have a P3 Trapper, but you could still use the bonus bloodpoints you gain as Trapper to level up and prestige the Hillbilly, you wouldn't be "stuck" to the Trapper forever, especially if you prefer the other gamestyle more

Right when I decided to prestige anymore just to get all the perks on everyone :P Oh well, I am sure the rewards will still be exciting to see what they come up with. :)
