What is the Wiggle bar for?

Hooks are so close to each other. There is no chance to wiggle off. Even if you crawl in a edge where another survivor died.

The distance between hooks should be increased a little bit. Atm the Wiggle Bar is just decoration and just good for farm BP.

You're not meant to be able to wiggle out alone without some help from the team, such as body blocking and Sabotaging.

Wiggling off should be a rare occasion. The main purpose of the Wiggling Bar is that the Killer cannot bring the Survivor to any Hook he wants (most likely the Basement) so that he has to choose one of the closer Hooks.

The wiggle bar for killers serves a similar purpose to the EGC for survivors. The wiggle bar is not primarily intended as an escape mechanic, any more than the EGC is primarily intended to kill survivors. In both cases, the mechanic is simply meant to provide enough of a threat to put some time pressure on the player, so they know that if they don't do the thing in time (hooking a survivor, or leaving the match, as the case may be), they will be severely punished for it and their opponent will be rewarded.
