Idea to bring ppl back playing the game
Hey guys, how about survivors being able to opt out of specific killers (as many as they want) and killers being able to opt out of swf's. Now, i know some will say that you will increase your matchmaking times by doing this, but if someone wants to do it knowingly, let it be up to them. I believe that the amount of ppl that will return to the game after this, will even shorten the match making queues.

Not really mate. It won't bring that many people back. The thing is if the killer blocks that swf then that swf has even longer to wait for a lobby. Your punishing a team for potentially playing your game long enough to get good at it.
As for dodging killers it's the same sort of thing. The problem is if they added a blocking mechanic people would still complain about que times.

Bro , ask yourself this , would you rather have a killer playing and blocking swfs or dont have that killer at all. Also would you rather have a survivor that blocks a spirit but playing or not having that survivor at all.

Killers aren't leaving the game the way your trying to imply lol they just shortened map sizes, removed infinites and reduced tiles. They've just gave killer a massive buff so I don't understand after all that why they'd leave.
If the killer can block swf teams then the que times for survivor will increase meaning your more likely to lose them. Killer wait times are only 20 seconds so if they had to wait longer they wouldn't mind. A survivor wouldn't stop playing the game because of just 1 killer out of 19 lol

- 1 Killers aren't leaving the game the way your trying to imply
- 2 A survivor wouldn't stop playing the game because of just 1 killer out of 19
- 3 If the killer can block swf teams then the que times for survivor will increase
1) The do, im one of them
2) They would, im one of them
3) I can clearly tell your bias towards swfs with that statment. What you forget is the queue will increase for the killer too. And the survivor has the option to queue solo if he would want faster queue, and the killer opt in for swfs. And dont tell me "why you want to punish survivors for playing with friends" because killers are being punished already with swf's since they were implemented in the game. You had your fun , dont you think its time for both sides to have a little bit of fun now?

Your case isn't always the case for all of them.
I wouldn't, im one of them.
Yeah and if the matchmaking increases then that killer will probably turn off swf blocking which results in nothing changing. (+IT WILL also increase matchmaking times for those who didn't turn on any options which is why im also against quickplay/ranked modes)

Im telling you guys with the amount of ppl this will bring back, any matchmaking issues it might create, they will be balanced out. Why cant you see it? And worse case scenario just reverse it back.

Let's say such a change was introduced, and these people did all come back to the game. If they left in the first place for such a petty reason as "the game has a killer in it that I don't like", they can't have been terribly invested to begin with. If they did come back, how long before the developers introduce another feature they don't like and they quit on account of that?
It's a never-ending cycle of dissatisfaction. The developers make a lot of mistakes, but they know better (I hope) than to fall down that rabbit hole. Caving to anything and everything that players demand just because they threaten to quit if you don't is one of the best and fastest ways to ruin your game.

If I had the option to opt-out of any 1 specific killer, and never encounter them again - Great!
But the option to avoid SWF would murder your queues since there's a lot more SWF than killer I hate.
