My proposed Buckle Up buff

Buckle Up is usually at the bottom of people's tier lists because 1) SWF doesn't need it and 2) it isn't even good for solos. Why would you ever run the perk as it is now when there's so many better information perks?

The only change I would make is to make the aura intensity reading have full-map range. By allowing the dying survivor's aura intensity to be read from anywhere instead of within 48 meters, the perk would become way more useful. 48 meters is so close, you might as well start healing them to see how much they've recovered. If a survivor teammate is down and the killer is nearby, you need to know whether they're close or far from recovering to full. If you start healing them then the killer is most likely gonna get a free hit, and you need to make sure that taking that hit is even worth it before you've even committed to it.

Some of you may say, "This makes the perk overpowered!" which I highly doubt. But what if it did? What this game needs is perk variance, and you cannot have that unless you buff the weaker perks.

You know what is the best part? Even after this buff it would be a garbage, as the worst anti slugging perk.

If you could heal downed survivors 100/200/300% faster, then we'd have a perk worth talking about.

I think this perk could do with an entire rework:

When you pick up a Survivor from the Dying State within the Killer's Terror Radius that Survivor gets the Endurance Status effect for 10 seconds. Any damage taken that would put the picked up Survivor into the Dying State will instead apply the Deep Wound Status effect. The Survivor has 10/15/20 seconds to Mend themselves. If the picked up Survivor takes any damage while affected by Deep Wound, or the Deep Wound timer ends, the picked up Survivor is immediately be put into the Dying State.

To be honest, this could be added on top of it's og effect. Unless they are going for quantity.

I say no. Survivors dont need more bs second chance crutch perks you have to many as is.

You call this second chance? Even with this buff, people would run DS, BT, etc INSTEAD of this. I'm a killer main who's sick of the same 6 perks being used and nothing else, and if you agree with that, you came off as the opposite opinion.

survivors dont need aura reading its to much info. This game shouldn't have info for survivors at all . Im tired of the same perks but they should be nerfed not other perks buffed.

Maybe Object should be nerfed but every other perk that gives survivors info is fine. A lot of killers' perks shouldn't be shown to survivors, if that's what you mean. There's no reason a survivor should get a notification for Thanataphobia or Huntress Lullaby.

With survivor perks, the meta isn't gonna change on its own. DS, BT, Adrenaline, Unbreakable every match could still be common. But if we don't buff useless perks, they will never ever see play and the meta will not change at all. I will take survivors having an information perk over a second chance perk any day.
