Keys need to be explained better
Not only do green keys do nothing despite being in the game, but apparently neither do other keys even though you have certain add-ons equiped. I had a purple key with a Scratched Pearl add-on and it didn't let me aura read anything. If a second add-on needs to be used in combination with it, why is that so unclear to the player? Keys aren't even in the tutorial, similar to toolboxes. Either make keys as simple to understand as toolboxes and medkits, or just take them out of the game. This game isn't friendly to new killers OR survivors it seems.

They only do aura reading with add-ons, which is stupid. They should simply be removed from the game.

Yeah, but the add-ons provide different kinds of aura reading. But great point. It's a gimmick item that is simply frustrating to get out of a chest, with no use in and of itself that trial. I would even be happy if they remove it from chests and it is only kept in bloodwebs, for a start.

It's in the description of the item. I don't get what is the problem, it seems pretty clear to me.

Broken keys could honestly be deleted from the game and I'm sure almost no one would complain, an item you can get from a chest that is literally useless without add-ons is so freaking dumb. And no, the game really isn't newbie friendly. They honestly need to update their tutorial so freaking much (though at least they have a tutorial now, lol). It's ridiculous that youtube has better tutorials for literally everything about the game than the game itself.
The scratched pearl is useless without other add-ons though yeah. It's just an aura extender, it's meant to be stacked with something else. Might be nice if they made it so it can only be added if there's only another add-on that it can sync with already attached to the key, to prevent mistakes like that from being made.
