An odd, different yet somewhat appealing (at least to me) killer and survivor idea.
Wouldn't it be interesting if they added Yagami Light (Kira) from Death Note as a killer? Idk what the power would be, something related to the book? But the survivor could be L which would be dope. I'd 100% main L and Yagami, no matter what the powers or perks are.
But Death Note isn't exactly a horror genre, so I guess that's one flaw with it ;-;

The other issue is that, whatever M1 attack they'd give him, it'd just be weird.
The kill animation is also extremely predictable: He'll write his name in the notebook, and he'll quickly choke to death or some other quick death.

True, but they could add this animation where he writes that the entity's spikes come out the ground and behead the survivor, which would look pretty dope.
For the M1, I can definitely see what you mean lol, but you never know, they could figure something out.

Ikr, I'd never go back to Kate, even if she do be thicc. L is just an amazing character and one of my favourite characters in all animes alongside Misaki Mei and Hit from DBS.
Actually, that's got me thinking, what if they were to add Another into DBD? That technically was a horror anime, and there could be a killer who disguises as a survivor, creating confusion.

I like Death Note too, but this series just doesn't feel like a fitting addition.
It's a detective anime with 2 supernatural additions: Death gods & their death notes.
But hey, if they want to add them, oh ######### well! 🤷♂️

I love this idea they could make ryuk the killer. His power would be something like he is able to fly upwards and something else they can figure out idk I actually want this to be a thing.

How he predicted his successors to defeat Light? Interesing, maybe he could add a buff to the teammates, like 10% faster speed in dropping pallets or vaulting (not stackable) once he's dead.

Ryuk is too cute to be a killer, yeah he could potentially be scary and all to the DBD players, but to me he's still the sweet lil Ryuk I've always known and loved.
For a power, Ryuk could have anything tbh, since we never saw his true powers in the anime.
