Matchmaking + possible game mode

I've been recently playing as a killer (first games as it, but not first games at dbd), and I've met plenty of players that were quite higher rank than me. I don't care about waiting 5 more minutes to play, but being lvl 19 and being matched with ranks 1 and 2 it's quite frustrating even more when they do T-bagging to me at the exit. Maybe implementing a non-ranked play mode would be interesting for people who just wanna play instead of tryhard. And improving the matchmaking would do a great difference.

    This seems like the place to say this but developers please, matchmaking needs to be a higher priority for you guys right now. I'm only a rank 13 killer and most games I'm up against reds. Don't tell me rank has nothing to do with skill, it's not the be all and end all but it does reflect skill. I haven't had a fair game in about two weeks and even then it was becoming rare. You guys just announced the next chapter which I was excited about but I can't justify buying it if I won't be able to have fun with it. I don't need to get 4k every match but when I'm up against people I can't even get on the hook all the time, I can't enjoy the game. So please after the next chapter (which I understand is the current focus) drop everything and sort out matchmaking please.
