Hook Struggle button mash should be removed
It adds completely no element of gameplay at all apart from giving my fingers a cramp and probably going to eventually break my spacebar.
Also if they can't remove it at least fix the damn bug where you just randomly get killed despite spamming.

I hope they implement the Pyramid Head cage skill check instead of spamming Space Bar.

i rebound mine to the scroll wheel; makes it better tbh; but I 100% agree esp with @BigBrainMegMain

My friend told me to do the same but for whatever reason even with my scroll wheel unlocked it just didn't work like 30% of the time so I'm back to spamming space.

I don't mind it, but I noticed it can be pretty finicky. Spamming at the speed of light might kill you if you go too fast for the game to recognize (as has happened to me before, and seems to have happened to you), but going too slow for even a millisecond can also spell certain doom. I think it could be changed out for something else, like how survivors wiggle, but honestly if they plan on changing it I'm just curious to see what they do. You'd think such a simple command would be just fine, but somehow even it is riddled with bugs.

They ought to use a fill gague during the struggle phase. If the gague fills up completely then you are sacrificed. Pressing a button (not spamming) or passing a skill check (at pre-determined intervals) should reset the gague.

Its worse on controller sadly. I really don't think the a button on xbox had spamming in mind given it gives up on me a lot of the time. Would love for a change because it really is kinda pointless

I don't like the struggle mechanic at all and never had. The skillchecks, like in the cage, are much better.

I think it's more a matter of server latency rather than tapping too fast.

But they should also give a way to allow the entity to consume you on the struggle phase.

Did you guys do the survey? In the survey there’s a question about this struggle mechanic whether or not you like it and if you prefer to have skill checks instead.
