Is New MMR Active Already?
According to Tru3, new MMR was in effect. He streamed a game as Freddy and claimed that the new MMR was active as it had put him up against certain players.
Can this be confirmed? If so, is it across all platforms?

They did mention in one of the QAs that they were testing it on live servers occasionally (couldnt give you exact wording so take this with a grain of salt).

It feels like it. I'm consistently getting extremely difficult games on Nurse in the last few days.

Oh, I thought they got activated in the last patch when I was getting matched up with people from all colors of the rank rainbow. Why was I suddenly gettting a sudden spread of different ranks matched with me if it wasn't due to moving to MMR from rank matchmaking?

Went against very tough teams all day yesterday as killer these guys felt very coordinated.

By "certain players" do you mean GOOD players? Is this Tru3's new way of saying every survivor he faces is "Optimal" again?

It is being tested and rainbow rank matches have been pretty much everywhere for a period of time now. Also it is being turned on and off again. You will probably not notice it at all in such a short period of time.

Tru3 constantly claims everytime he plays killer, the survivors are "optimal" while everytime he plays survivor, his teammates are potatos. Also everytime a survivor 360s him and he wiffs, it was "Dead 'ard", which apparently they must be hackers because they can often times use it several times per chase, lol.

Didnt mean to hate on anyone, OP just mentioned tru3 by name. I just figured that was the reason why anyone would just assume they were chosen to be in the new MMR since it doesnt actually tell you.

Its because the SWF's commas are OP. They should just use a period and end the sentence, but no... they have to keep it going. I'm just busting your chops.
Personally, I'll look out of curiosity...but I dont get scared away by SWFs. I'm not one to blame every outplay a survivor makes on SWFs, although I have turned abit paranoid anytime someone goes down near a locker and check the locker before picking em up.

Oh, I know. Feel like the worst killer main on here sometimes because alot of the rants I hear about how survivor sided this game is... I'm just like "Maybe theres something you can do to get better? Maybe its time for abit of self reflection when you do poorly instead of time to rant on the forums?" Was on a thread the other day with people suggesting some Bubba buffs...and none of em were very subtle, lol. This wasnt little tweeks. Someone suggested for example that instead of bubba moving at 85% speed while revving his saw like he does now...it should be 105%.

Truetalent likes to talk up his opponents. I think that’s better then the opposite.
He doesn’t get SWF results from his solo queue because the great SWFs are four mans and he doesn’t SWF.
Hes probably wrong about MMR though.

People can claim anything. Even if it’s someone with a big audience, they’re just as likely to be mistaken as anyone else. Until the devs announce that the new MMR has been rolled out, I’d take anyone claiming something like this with a big pinch of salt, especially someone like Tru3 who often exaggerates.

I can't speak to the matchmaking, but for the record Tru isn't a "killer main", he alternates playing killer and survivor pretty much every match.

IDK been playing a lot recently and grinding through the archive challenges. this means some games I am not as much of a help to the team because I need to do very specific things that don't come up all that often in game play. this does cause me to die or get taken out early with little to no bloodpoints and even though I'm strattling purple ranks I sometimes find myself in match after match with rank 20's after a 3 game losing streak with very little bp earned.

That makes sense. The challenges don’t always lead to good gameplay. The first archive’s Spine Chill challenge was a nightmare. The recent one with Dwight hiding by the killer as well.
True was claiming these things long before the Archives. That’s why the posts above are stereotyping him.

@Steel_Eyed the stuff that's tearing me up is the kate stuff. forcing myself into chases with a unleveled character is hell. on the other hand though I have gone through the beginning of tomb 1 all the way to tomb 3 in less then 48 hours sooo progress. im doing it to store enough bp to insta level pyramid head to 50 when he comes out. already have 300K bp stored in unclaimed challenges.

”good” is a very ambiguous term in DBD, so no, I don’t think that would be the right word.

You must be one of those people who have only seen a few of his YT videos and think that’s the bulk of the survivors he goes against.
He goes plays against potatoes all the time. And he doesn’t call them optimal.

People give Tru3 ######### because he's arrogant. I don't believe he does it as much. But his older streams were basically long periods of him complaining about the game. With a bit of Dead ard, bai ted, and optimal sprinkled in.
