if possible just make it so the last hatchet is instant down... if they wanna use the extra hatchet addon that’s fine it just means their first 1-2 hatchets are normal.

To be honest, huntress players that rely on iri head ultimately become worse killers in general. A good huntress doesnt need add ons at all. Using the crutch of iri head just makes it where you dont maximize your potential with her.
Conversely, playing against iri head makes you better against huntress in general. Learning to dodge the instadown allows you to better face the much more common huntress player.
Of course a really good huntress, probably isnt going to lose whether they run the iri heads or not

Its not hard to get within 5m and hit a survivor, and thats basically how people play Iri Huntress. Thats why its absolut bs.

An instant down doesn't down someone with Endurance.
5 Hatchets, you can down an unhooker and the unhooked, even if they have and use BT and even if you miss a throw.

I played a game as Legion with no perks, no add-ons, and never using Frenzy.
They still complained. :(

With 3 instant hatches you don't even need to down the unhooked guy because u down the unhooker instantly. Is your brain working dude? The hell am I even discussing this lmao

Yea, but people explained what they disliked about them which resulted in the disliked things - 7 seconds to hit, passive madness gain, no counterplay to bleeding out if the Legion moonwalks, Spirit not giving that much feedback in general, etc. - being adjusted.
Saying that it's not fun to be camped by a Killer with an instant down isn't an argument against Iridescent Head Hunttess.
I, for one, am perfectly fine with Iridescent Head being nerfed, and I'm totally on board with it not exactly being fun.
But just saying something isn't fun isn't a good argument against something, especially with how subjective fun is.
The first suggestion is fine with me, but the second one just turns Iridescent Head into a meme add-on. Personally I think it should be removed entirely. Give her a cool crazy Ultra Rare that changes her power completely.

If use a iri-addon you shouldn’t able to run it with a belt. So the huntress has only 1 hatchet
or
only instadown from 15m otherwise just injured

If all three Survivors rush the hooked guy while you're actively camping, you are probably not going to be able to deny the unhook with default wind up times and throw cooldowns (unless you're just standing at the basement entrance or at the top of the Thompson House stairs). Especially if you miss a throw or the hooked Survivor's iframe hitbox absorbs a Hatchet. You'll get a down or two if you play your cards right.
If you have 5 Hatchets and three people rush the hook you can down one person before they can unhook, hit the rescuer and injure them, and still have 2 Hatchets left - as well as be able to ready and land them before the remaining Survivors can get too far away.
It's still bad for you if you miss a Hatchet or iframes eat one, but they don't get extra speed off a miss or iframes - so you should still achieve the same results more or less, just with 1 Hatchet instead of two.
More Hatchets with faster wind ups or shorter throw cooldowns are better than Instadowns for camping if you're good at Huntress; barring two specific hook locations.
If you're not, or are going to camp those specific locations, then you can play Bubba and do just as well as you would as Huntress with Iridescent Head.

make it so iri head only downs you at 18+ meters so skillful shots are rewarded. not as a melee alternatives

I see range as the most common idea to fix Iri heads, I mentioned above I think another alternative to differentiate her from the Slinger's addon would be to make Iri head cause the LAST hatchet to be insta down. That way she doesn't get any bonus from bringing the extra hatchet addons too, if anything they would hurt her.

This is just factually inaccurate. Survivors that have bt love to run up and unhook people just as you hook them, and then the guy coming off the hook likes to try and jump in front of you to take the hit. This happens ALOT and you KNOW the guy coming off hook has ds. Its gotten to where i just follow the unhooked for a count of 15 then down them and leave them

As soon as they announce that they're removing the instadown capabilities of iri head I'm using all 45 of my iri+ belts. Its dumb if they rework those add ons because something that expensive should be strong. Nobody complains about hillbillys chainsaw and its in his base kit and even easier to hit than iri head. Plus he doesnt have to reload after every 3 chainsaws swell as having high mobility and being a 115/4.6 killer. Survivors just dont want killers to be strong is all I hear when they complain about an add on lol

I’d like to point out that it’s not difficult to dodge a hatchet. And how hard it is to actually hit one if you’re running around the Huntress. Having 2 of the iri hatches seem balanced to me. And the max 3 is still just one more thing to dodge.

Make the hitboxes align with the hatchet model, not as a sphere.
Also, make the IRI addon reduce hatchets to 1 permanently so Infantry Belt can’t bring it up to 3.

Just make it so that headshots instadown survivor with iri head. I think this was done in a ptb a while ago but was actually added to Huntress' kit. That idea was scrapped. Not sure why they didn't implement this to iri head instead for a quick fix.

You can’t compare billy and anna, they are two different characters with other mechanics and strengths. Billy you can juke on windows while the huntress throw through them for example. Billy is a mobile killer who use bbq and go for the next target while the most huntresses are proxycamping with their 3 instahatches...
btw, there are more very strong killer addons which become „op“ in some combinations or the way they were used:
HAG
Addons: mint rag + shackles
Perks: noed, monitor, sloppy butcher, nurses or make your choice
Offering: Mori
MYERS
Addons: mirror + memo
Perks: sloppy butcher, nurses, noed, ruin
Offering: Lerrys
In my opinion only the „strongest“ addon is not the problem, it’s more the playstyle and settings with them.

That’s a bad idea. Unless it’s a lot shorter. D-slingers add-on is a piece if garbage. 10000 times shittier than iri head. You’re lucky to get it work once/match.

Why not an add-on that changes the arc of her hatchets, could be interesting to see the most skilled players learn new ways to wreck survivors

I like them the way they are, its an "oh #########" moment for me as survivor. And anything that gets me saying "oh #########" is a good thing.
And before anyone says it Ive literally never ran it while playing seriously so its not a "dont take my toy away" thing.

DS lasts longer than the time it takes for 2 survivors to complete a gen from start to finish with no perks or items, so sure.
In the case of BT, you can't just pretend bodyblocking off hook doesn't exist.

Hard-limit set to 1 Maximum Hatchet. Only insta-downs if the hatchet is fully charged.

I think Huntress needs several changes to make her fair: 1) Most importantly Directional Lullaby 2) The axe hitbox needs to be a narrow cylinder and not a sphere 3) nerf the number of hatchets from 5 to 4 4) Rework Iri-head 5) Rework exhaustion addons (only clown deserves such a thing) 6) More cooldown between hatchet throws 7) Move considerably slower when hatchet is cocked 8) more cooldown after a hatchet throw to prevent insta-down in some situations

I'm not sure what you expect. Don't know what to explain or point out on long range, 40m/s insta down spamming. Wait 7 seconds to hit someone is also just a fact and the complain is "it's no fun". Technically it is simply a drawback because you get aura reading in exchange and omega slowdown. There was no explanation "why" it is unfun to wait 7 seconds. To me this is the same situation. And "camping huntress" is one of the results of the line I began with, not the reason for the nerf wish

There's a difference between fair hits and unfair this.
Huntress hits you around corners. You can VPN to Japan, or AUS and Huntress Hatchets will ALWAYS take priority.
I feel I've been experiences more VPN Huntress's, how is that fair?

I forgot to put Add-ons in the Title, it's fixed. I really think that if Iridescent Head is being used, you cannot increase your amount of Hatchets. The point of the add-on is to make it so you can one shot someone at the expense of less Hatchets. Why make it so you can have more and make it too overbearing for the survivors to handle.

Alright, let me try to say this more clearly:
If you find something unfun, but don't explain why, how can you expect it to change?
Complaining that something isn't fun doesn't do anything.
I don't have fun playing Hag, other people do. There are people out there that enjoyed playing as and against Old Freddy. Some people despise certain Killers and never play them.
Fun isn't something you can change in a character or power or add-on; it's subjective. Specific values or details about something can be changed.
Staring at Survivors for 7 seconds and being unable to stop them from completing actions in your face is something that can be changed.
Similarly, how can other people on here understand your stance on something or reasonably argue with or against you?
You need specifics (like "long range, 40m/s insta down spamming" isn't fun), not generalities (Iridescent Head isn't fun).
