All skins should have a blood-covered alternative
This really should be implemented. Surely it shouldn't take much for all three parts of any attire to be splattered with blood.
It's annoying when you want your skins to look beaten, battered and rough when certain parts are shower clean. I don't want my survivors walking aound Gideon with a sharp new haircut and freshly ironed shirt.
The licensed survivors have alternative attires included, but unfortunately only one is blood-covered via prestige. This shouldn't be the case.
I also say that some bloody skins, such as Myers and Laurie, look horrendous. It's too much and looks silly.
Every skin released (in game and in store) should have a blood-covered alternative. Or at least give up the option of purchasing either the standard or bloody alternative.

It actually is difficult to add blood to all cosmetics. The blood isn't added randomly - they have to be added manually and intentionally by the art team. It essentially means they have to make two skins instead of one for every skin they release, which cuts into other time to make cosmetics for other characters.

Although it's only my personal preference, I would rather have blood attires over some of the extravagant offerings in the store, but then that's just me. But saying that, two entirely different skins would sell better than a skin and a simple blood alternative.
It's just annoying when, for example, you want a blood skin with a certain head, and the head is clean and shiny.

Not everyone want to prestige. It’s a waste of millions of bloodpoints.

Oh I was there once, but my achievements started drying up and I wanted more things to grind toward.

Unfortunately, the devs already admitted that they have no plans to do this as its too much work.

It's wishful thinking, but this is another one of those things that makes me want a community workshop for DbD.
Imagine if the community had the basic tools to alter character/cosmetic models into new cosmetics that they wanted to see. The art team could select designs they liked (or highly rated ones) and adjust them for inclusion in the game. Basically the same concept as the "design-your-own-cosmetic" contest from 2019, but where dedicated fans could create a more proper 'rough draft' of the cosmetic pieces to help save the devs some time and effort.

I do hope in the future prestige rework devs may consider a 2nd prestige set of cosmetics, for the additional outfit they come with. David, for example, could get prestige for his foggy day jacket, trousers and battle mullet. Feng could have her cardigan and bun become bloody, ace his tuxedo and so on.
However, considering not all characters have alt outfits this wouldn't really work unfortunately. Considering some David cosmetics that aren't prestige feature blood, maybe we could see similar outfits for other characters in the future? Or perhaps prestige variations of popular cosmetics could be available in future rifts, instead of a colour change. Not sure if devs would see that as devaluing prestige or not, but something to consider either way!
