Insidious Rework?
So are the devs planning on reworking insidious into a better perk or do they plan to keep it the way it is? The way that it is currently used encourages a very irritating way of playing the game for all parties. There are not a lot of killers that use it because its so bad but the killers that do usually are Leatherface or a killer that has a way to one shot the survivors. Leatherface, I found to be the one that takes advantage of this perk the most as the killer can hook someone in the basement and camp. In addition because insidious can go through borrowed time it doesn't give survivors a way to escape. For the higher ranked people they know not to save the person but then that leaves the survivor on the hook doing nothing until they die. Yes the killer loses out on bloodpoints and a experienced team will not give them the 4k but I find that most people that use this method don't care about bloodpoints or rank. Also the survivors might not be able to earn any altruism points because to try and get some could end in their death. Bringing insidious with other killers has very little use and probably wont actually be used in the game.
One idea that I had for a rework would be to put a skill check on the hook saves and if failed the person getting unhooked would get the broken status for around 15 sec or so. I don't feel that this would be broken but also would be more used than what insidious is currently used for.

I wouldn't count on it. There's plenty of things that are annoying but they'll only really focus on one or two things at a time it seems. Pig has been in an awful state for a long time where she's not even that great of a killer and it's really easy to play toxic with her, yet she's remained untouched pretty much since EGC came into existence.

Jk, jk, Insidious on trappper & leatherface is quite powerful, the only way to counter this would to gen rush and escape asap and queue up for another match

Depends on how you use insidious, I use it on doc to pretend I'm an illusion and tried a gimicky build from Otz to play ninja clown, both are fun to do.

Insidious: After hooking a survivor, gain the Undetectable status effect for 8/9/10 seconds.
That is without a doubt the best way to rework insidious. It's simple, it counters Kindred and instant Borrowed Time unhooks for a limited amount of time, and killers can have another stealth perk that doesn't promote hard camping. If the numbers of tier 3 neesld to be tweaked down to 8 seconds, then sure. Everyone else I have come across trying to come up with a Insidious rework are making it so convoluted and dumb.
