Just another idea.

Right before passing through the fog, which the red player can't, the red player has a big opportunity to strike from behind resulting in them not passing through the fog and being dealt great, unavoidable damage.

What if that's a thing in Dead by Daylight?

If a Survivor is within 1 or 1.5 meters of the edge of the areas within Exit Gates, tapping (not holding) the main attack button would result in a grab.

Why a grab?

Well just hitting them at that point is kinda useless except for some BP.

And just one thing i'd like to point out: If the other player successfully passes the fog, the red player loses.

Same would be here of course, passing the line would still be a success.

Would this be extremely rare to pull off?

You bet your ass it would be rare.

So why even think of it?

Shits 'n' giggles. 🤷‍♂️

    I actually like the idea.

Though tbh, I'd prefer an insta-kill if it were implemented.

Because a grab could still be BM'ed by bodyblocking and flashlights.

Meanwhile, a mori cannot technically be countered.

Sure, this would make it even rarer, but then hopefully nobody would complain if they died to that because it was THEIR fault that THEY were killed because they wanted to BM you.

I love your reasoning of why you thought of it @Boss

It could be interesting, I wouldn't want it at the start of the exit area - would like it close to the entity spikes I think...because there are reasons for survivors to stay in to try to make saves etc.

    Now this is interesting!

Not only would it provide a last chance for the killer to get a hook (or even a kill), it may actively encourage survivors to leave the game instead of simply hanging out and BMing right next to the Fog/Entity spikes.

Yes, pulling it off successfully might be rare, but aren't those the most thrilling things in DBD?

    Awesome idea, Boss!

Yes of course, i don't want the grabs that early either.

I was just thinking of this last, final taste of danger.

Hmmm i like it but most survivors believe once the gens are done their job is done and the match is over they should be allowed the escape.

Oh i'm sure people would criticize this tiny grab zone.

Did ya' see my discussion's title? 😜

Killers not only could/should grab in exit zone, but start a DRAGGING ANIMATION with skill checks for both sides...whoever messed up first loses.

If the killer wins, INSTANT AUTOMATIC MORI.
