Cage of Atonement and WGLF
I noticed that rescuing someone from a cage doesn't give you a WGLF stack. Has this been noted or addressed previously? If it's intentional, then it doesn't seem like good design since the cage counts toward sacrifice/hook progress.

HOOK ACTIVATED PERKS DO NOT WORK WITH THE CAGE. Killer (BBQ etc) or survivor (DS, BT etc) How many times does this have to be said.

This actually sucks. WGLF doesn’t even offer much benefits besides BP and even that is disabled by cages :-(

It is NOT disabled by cages. You can still take protection hits.

Bro, when I run WGLF, I make sure the killer is nearby, and hook trade. It's an easy 3 stacks if you do it right. Run the killer to the hook, have borrowed time, take a hit, unhook survivor, take another hit. 3 stacks, EZ.

This just seems kind of cruel though. The only thing that perk does is give points and nothing else.
If you think zbout it, that perk kind of just got nerfed. No stacks fir cages and if you take a protection hit you might get broken for a whoke minute

Going to add this in as i feel it would give a justified reason for the WGLF stack to come from a cage rescue. Hook saves, bear trap saves, protection hits, pallet stun saves, and flashlight saves all give a stack. When you rescue someone from a cage you are in fact saving them so a stack SHOULD be awarded. Whether it's in the game or not well i'm sure the devs have their own reason but i have supplied a more than fair reason why the perk should get a stack.

The cage mechanics count as a hook stage, but it does not proc hook or unhook based perks. This was already confirmed by Peanits on another thread during the PTB as intentional.
This means PGTW, BT, WGLF, BBQ&C, and DS are all null and void.
Broken doesn't really do anything though except to newer players. Almost all survivors who play the game for any longer period of time than a few months just do gens.
You do have a point tho.

The only people who really ever run WGLF are survivors who hook farm. So I'm happy it was "nerfed". It still gives a stack on a protection hit but that doesn't keep you off the hook to farm more hooks off your team.
Since it only offers BP there is no reason to run it of you actually care about your team.

I run it all the time and i dont hook farm, so youre already wrong. Just because you got hook farmed dont get ######### with me over it

Uh broken makes it so people cant heal whether theyre new or not. Its already gotten me downs, they were going to just do gens anyway. The point is they cant heal at all for 60 secs so when i catch back up to them theyre easier to down

I know what broken means. It's a joke status. When 90% of survivors do a gen than heal you would of gotten those downs regardless since there's a high chance they wouldn't of bothered healing anyways. Ya 60 seconds tho of a useless status is still a useless perk imho 🤣 like you said they were gonna do gens anyways so it's a wasted perk slot.
