Executioner extremely strong in red rank killer mains may need a balance
I play both killer and survivor. Survivor rank 1 and killer rank 2 at the moment.
However, I believe the new killer is too strong for red rank killer mains and needs a balance for the following reasons:
2-He has a quick mori, and there is no way to get out of torment unless you rescue someone from the cage
3- DS or BT does not work on the cage.
4- His ground power is too long and you can try to loop around but its still hard.
5- I feel that this killer does not require any real skill for you to be good with it and that isn't
For example: I love the Deathslinger because he requires a lot of strategy, he is fun to play and you have to get good with it to actually get kills.
I understand this new killer is different but in order to be a bit fair for everyone he does need some balance.
6- I went against a rank 2 executioner and he had Pop and we were never able to complete a gen. One of us had repressed alliance but because of the amount of time required for it to activate and it only works for 30 seconds when Pop works for 60 seconds.
I am not putting this post to be hated on, I am just trying to be fair for everybody being that I actually am a red rank in both survivor and killer and play both a lot.
PS: TO EVERYONE BEING PETTY IN THE COMMENTS, I AM POSTING THIS FROM A KILLER STAND POINT. I AM A RANK 2 KILLER AND I HAVE DESTROYED ALL SURVIVORS ON THE FIRST DAY THIS LAUNCHED ON PS4, FIRST DAY USING THE KILLER WITHOUT NOED, GETTING A 4K AND ALL MATCHES SURVIVORS DID NOT DO MORE THAN 2 GENS SO STOP THE HATE AND BE MATURE. I POSTED AN OPINION FROM A KILLER PERSPECTIVE.

Killer just got released and there is already a killer op plz nerf post, just give it time and you'll learn to adapt or don't and die.

Give it a few days, Survivors will get used to it, adapt, and start countering him. No sense in asking for nerfs right off the bat.

Funny you think that because I actually think that he is extremely average. His power is pretty easy to juke and is very punishing if you miss. His cage is also a free unhook and heal most of the time.

I’ve definitely had a lot of people dodging intelligently, all of his powers are very demanding to know when to use them and when to hook/M1. I’m in red ranks and have only “won” 2 games so far (RIP my Adept though since they were both ruthless) as opposed to 3-5 Brutal killers and as many entity displeaseds. He’s got a significant skill cap, so I definitely think some time is needed before we judge him too harshly one way or the other

I don’t know what games your playing right now lol. Same rank as you in both and i can tell you playing as and against him so far today, he’s been getting bullied far more often then not. He has zero map mobility and his power is not oppressing. Far from overpowered.

Pyramid Head is fun to play and he is a good killer, yes. But he is nowhere near overpowered.
Missing with his power-attack is extremely punishing. His barbed wire is avoidable just like the Hag's traps and disappears with time. He isn't the easy one to master too. And if player manages to make a 4K with PH it's due to either survivors being complete potatoes or the killer being simply a good killer, who knows how to play. And such killer-players will most likely wreck survivors even with perkless Clown. So it's not an objective observation, it's simple whining, really.
If you aren't serious and this is next-level trolling, then ha-ha i guess...

I did read the post. I'll give you benefit of the doubt and will assume that you didn't go against potato-squads so far as this killer and you actually destroyed each and every non-potato team as PH. Do you really think that the fact that you yourself feel comfortable enough to play this killer means that he should be nerfed, so that others can't play him adequately anymore? That's actually very interesting pov on fairness: "well, Im destroying survs, although many others dont, so nerf-nerf-nerf pls".
And the sentence about Pop can be easily implied to ANY other killer. That's the whole point of the perk - to regress gens more efficiently.

You skipped 1 for some reason, so I guess I'll just skip over it.
2. This usually only saves the killer 10 seconds and will rarely end up with you dead anyways. It's also not too hard to avoid getting tormented.
3. Nor do any killer perks. Additionally, both of these perks wouldn't be extremely useful considering you spawn on the opposite side of the map.
4. You have alot of time to avoid his attack, and it is well telegraphed as to what areas will be hit.
5. I'd argue he takes more skill than Deathslinger. Deathslingers attack heads at the speed of a fully charged Hatchet, while Pyramid heads attack takes about a second to launch.
6. And this only works if he was hooking you, not caring you, meaning hes not using every aspect of his power.

Dude I understand your points. But I am speaking from a killer stand point. Didn't you read my post that Im a red rank 2 killer and I destroyed all survivors today without using Noed. Literally 4k on all matches and they repaired only 2 gens. As a killer playing him, I do not think he is fair for survivors. I played against a rank 2 killer executioner and it was difficult. I played against a rank 5 and 6 executioner and it was way easy. I am talking about how easy this killer is for red rank killers like myself. I understand your points though

2: His quick mori only takes affect when the survivor is on death hook. How is that too strong?
3: DS and BT work as intended (requiring the hook action). The killer sends them to a cage that is a huge distance away from where they are anyway, so they'd be safe if they're rescued in a timely fashion.
4: His ground power is avoidable via crouching. Otherwise, if you're in a chase, he's still loopable. A loopable killer isn't extremely strong and needs balancing.
5: Why do you feel he doesn't require skill?
6: He can only pop one gen after hooking one survivor. Sounds like you just weren't holding m1 enough.

I understand that you are right about that. However because I play both survivor and killer and am red in both. I destroyed the survivors with the executioner, no noed, they did 2 gens and I got a 4k in all matches. I went against some purple and green executioners and they were very weak but I went against a rank 1 and 2 executioner and just like myself he was really strong. Eventhough If I got to stay in a chase long enough, it wasnt really enough for gens to pop quickly specially because he had Pop as a perk. So Im saying this having played as the killer and also as a survivor against a few red rank of them. Some people really get disrespectful here when Im just stating an opinion. You can state your opinion but I dont understand why people take it so angry.
The mods actually moved my general discussion to the feedback session so they obviously know its something that could be taken into account and I said balance not a full on nerf. Its not the same thing.

He just came out, of course you are going to do good with him at first.
I was just playing with a rank 1 Survivor (SWF I'm not red ranks) who couldn't deal with the Pyramid Head at all just because he hadn't figured out the timing and range on the attack.
Meanwhile myself, a mere green rank Survivor, was easily able to juke the same exact Killer in the same game simply because I played a ######### ton in the PTB and am a bit more experienced at playing against the Pyramid Head in particular.
Give it a week for that to apply to everyone and THEN judge him. OP or UP he's def not an extreme case either way (unlike his perks which were and in the case of trail of torment still are extremely UP)

Tbh, they need to slow down his movement speed and his hit box, he is way to fast for a killer, u get almost no time to get to a pallet with his speed, and his hit box makes it almost impossible to 180 or 360 him. I've played him and against him, he is just way to fast and his hitbox really needs to be adjusted cuz it makes do anything against him almost impossible. I've had nothing but easy games against survivors at red ranks cuz his hit box and move speed is ridiculous, and against him all games end in less than 5 min cuz u his hit box and move speed just ruin all survivor tactics
