Flash Lights hurt survivors

I can't count how many games I've played against SWFs and Solos where the game is just completely thrown because they want flashlight saves. It rarely works and if the killer knows you have a flashlight they'll just look at a wall or literally drop the person as you start to blind them. Had a game with two flashys against a SWF and didn't get blinded once.

They're like flies drawn to the corpse that is their friend and it's a real shame when it almost feels like they're sandbagging lol

As a survivor main, I personally hate flashlights & it makes me mad that there’s sometimes challenges to blind killers. I’m bad with a flashlight for one (Yes I can admit it) But also I don’t wanna blind a killer, piss it off and pay for it by being targeted lol.

Though I had a toxic teammate the other day. She was clicking her flashlight at the killer while at the exit. She wasn’t far enough, got downed and killed LOL. Karma. It was great.

Yeah, Flashlights just seem to be a hindrance and tend to hand out free hits or downs

It takes skill to be good with flashlights, and there will be a lot of losses while getting practice. I have also found that many killers are not good at stopping flashlight saves, they mess up picking them up or waste to much time getting a safe pickup

Don't even need it. You want them to have the flashlight so they'll buzz around you and not hold m1 for 80 seconds lmao

It's a very situational item that takes a lot of skill. If I want pre-hook saves, I rather take a tool box tbh. It does feel good though when you can get a blind save.

Not if those survivors know what they are doing.

Flashlight squads do tend to be easy. Having someone hovering constantly, sometimes multiple someones makes the game last a lot longer.

I have a theory that flashlight saves are only really possible when nobody in the lobby enters with a flashlight and you find one in a chest.

Then you've only got one shot before the killer wises up. If someone comes in with a torch he's gonna be ready for you in one way or another.

I agree. If you're aware of a survivor waiting for a flashlight or pallet save, it's so easy to just look down for a second and the survivors usually come running out thinking you're picking up, leading to a free hit sometimes.

A properly timed fl save isn't countable besides walls and lightborn.

I just wish they'd stop making blind challenges.
