About the in-game reports and the help center reports

Let's say I reported a player for a solid reason in the game. How much time passes until the in-game report will be looked at? And if I write a help center report after this, will it drastically increase the chances of a person being punished? Can anyone write their experience in that topic? On the side note, the help center reports take way too long to be solved, more than a week... It's saddening.

Yes in-game reports are reviewed but it takes very long. Submitting a ticket can increase the chances of a person being punished. Not sure if it works now, but contacting DBD mods directly through steam used to be the fastest way of getting a report solved quickly ( from experience I have reported 5-6 players for achievement hacking and using BP cheats and getting them banned within a week back in 17-18, I know it's been years xD ). Yes you are right solving ticket takes a lot of time. I submitted a ticket and it took 25 days for them to respond back to me. Jeeeeez.
