Cant activate blood fury on Oni

I was playing oni today on Badham preschool (i'm not sure which variant), but after i got stunned while picking up a blood orb i realized that i couldn't pick up anymore blood orbs and i also couldn't activate blood fury, so i was stuck as a killer with no power at all for a majority of the match

Same issue had blood fury locked away despite having a full blood meter for 75% of my match.

Same thing. Meter was full and available but couldn't do anything. Next match it was fine though, not sure how to reproduce.
