I have made 4 or 5 posts about the cakes, and now I see an ingame announcement, that the event will be prolonged.
THANK YOU!! That was the information I wanted, then take as long as you need to fix the problem.
Next time, please be upfront and tell what the solution is, instead of all these speculations, as this incedent unfortunately have triggered more people than One-Shot hatchets with eboni Mori.
Looking forward to be able to grind cakes and bloodpoints!!!

Considering that the anniversary is on June 14th and the anniversary started on June 23rd I'd say we already have an anniversary event after the anniversary.

@Almo the offering shouldn't be bugged at first place. Don't you guys test things? Also, how hard it is to REUSE the last year anniversary code? You guys should stop giving excuses and start coding things better, tbh...

Actually they DID communicate. do you expect them to come out every day or MORE saying "we're working on this we are in position A, B, C"??? no they wouldn't do it, it wastes your time. they acknowledged the issue (communication 1), they acknowledged that they have found it and working the issue (communication 2) (1 and 2 may be in the same post) and We have a plan to fix this (communication 3), Plan has been rolled out and it is fixed at this time (communication 4)..... I'd say they've been communicating quite well.... oh wait, we have position A, B and C already! D is when it rolls out! sounds like they did communicate.

When you give excuses and hand waive every problem saying it's not that bad you eventually wind up with Nurse and her myriad of common bugs. They talk about Quality Assurance but if they have a QA team they should've been able to catch the cakes not working in the first place as that's a very very simple bug to test for and reproduce. Trust me, I've worked on QA before.
The devs clearly listen to the bare minimum from their QA team, meaning "Does the game launch?" is all they care about.

An update every day until they fixed a problem would not have been much to ask. I don't expect hourly updates. But they use to add updates to the top of this forum. They communicated ineffectively. Period.

actually every day lessens the impact of the reports and makes people feel they are just repeating themselves just to keep things quiet. TOO much news is not good, too little is not good, and everyday is pointless and wastes time since everyone would have seen it already. especially if it's in the issues forums. but still they responded and got a fix working and now have a fix going in. this is what we need to hear, not the same thing day in and day out.
