Started trying to play the game again after a long time out and got paired like this. I actually stopped playing this match. Its not fun to play killer when a survivor who learns every trick to loop me can infinitely stay away. It doesn't make me want to go for someone else. When it happens I now stop playing and wait for the loss. You can say whatever you want, but im being honest I literally don't want to play when this happens. Call me a bad player, but most people play video games casually. I drink when I play so my accuracy might be off, but i really don't care to be top ranked i just want to have fun. I really like the concept of this game, but damn. I don't care to win 4 kills every match, but holy crap it feels like I am playing to be bullied by other players. It was so bad when I quit before that I blocked all chat from other players because why would I play a game that is supposed to be fun in my free time to feel like the village jackass? Even though I cant get messaged anymore this game feels like a real troll to casual killer players. I am not a game developer, but if there was a way to make a casual match up where players of high rank could not even enter that would be nice. Anyway still giving this game a go. I started negative so I will end on a positive note. I've got another drink in me hand so bring it on survivors of the fog!!!!

    Why are you reposting a discussion you just argued a few moments ago in another topic? How many drinks did you have? No point flooding the forums my friend, I’m sorry for the anguish you’ve encountered, but you won’t get much sympathy like this.

    The problem with this is, the survivors that just want to be dicks and are good, are just going to hope into casual play and increase the chances that they are going to be paired with someone outside their skill level

    Yes the rank system is broken, the devs have admitted this and plan on using a new match making system sometime this year I believe.

    I'm not even trying to call you bad here or anything so please don't take it that way here:

    If you like the game, why aren't you having fun? You feel like you're being bullied, no? So why not try to just get better? You said you don't want to be the best and that's perfectly fine, so if you are being "bullied" and that ruins your fun, why do you care?

    I'm just kind of curious what your thought process is like here. Not trying to be a jerk.

    Well i am trying to get better again, trying the new killers too, but it feels like at rank 19, the second lowest rank, that I get paired with the top players. I start a match and cannot even hit a player and if I do they heal quickly after.. Then I get the running in circles and humping the ground crap. Once that starts I dont even feel like trying anymore. Im trying to stay positive but there is no horror to the horror game aspect. It just feels like a ######### game of tag to me where the other person found some secret advantage i can't overcome. Its mostly just frustrating. I don't remember it feeling like this 2 years ago.
