Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

Loopers, Campers and Hooks

Looping and camping really sucks and ruins the experience.

Loopers - For this it would be good if the pallets could be randomised for each match so players didn't know where there are as loopers memorise the maps and know where there are. I know you can use a perk to view the pallets and ledges which is fair enough but it could help reduce looping a lot. Not sure how difficult that would be in terms of programming and a lot of players would probably disagree with makkng that change.


Campers - Would be good if the killer could only stay close to the hook for a certain period of time during the game (excluding the end game stage) and if they stay they until the survivor is close to death then the survivor is automatically unhooked and the killer is automatically stunned for a few seconds giving the survivor a chance to escape.


Hook - First of all the chance to escape the killers grasp should be changed, for PS4 id rather tap two buttons than wiggle the analogue stick and to give the survivor a better chance to escape. Again I understand there's perks in the game but generally the chances of escaping are slim. Then once hooked it would be good if there were three stages, one try escape, second stage have a skill check chance, then the third stage struggle. But if you are hooked a second time and haven't done the skill check yet then the skill check is more difficult.

    This already happens, location or an entire tile can be diffrent.

    Wiggling isnt made for escaping, just to prevent basement everytime.

    I would say that what we have now is enough. Having more would be just an annoyance.

    The game is fine how it is. Camping is annoying but it shouldn't EVER be punished during a match (only for ranks and such). If a killer can't stop a loop, then they should just move on to a different survivor.
