Introducing: Huntress Add-on "Pass"
I'm pretty sure they'll do the same thing they did to Nurse and Hillbilly - slap a cooldown mechanic on power and call it a day.
Introducting New Fun Power Gauge Mechanic for Huntress - Stamina
We really like the way Huntress performs right now, and we'd like to stay it that way, but to prevent Huntress players from mis using her power by holding the hatchets for long periods of time, or using it to facecamp a hooked survivor, we'd like to introduce a new Power Gauge Mechanic to add another layer of Depth to Huntress Gameplay.
Everytime you pull out a Hatchet, hold it in your hand or throw it, you lose some of your Stamina
It gradually regenerates back whenever you're not using your power
Base Kit Huntress can only throw up to 2 hatchets immediately after pulling them out and throwing them without charging
If you want to throw 2 charged Hatchets, you'll have to wait for your stamina to regenerate enough to pull out and throw the 2nd Hatchet, or otherwise you'll get stunned and you wont be able to pull out Hatchets until your Stamina bar recharges fully (at a slightly faster rate😀)
Honestly, we should get a power gauge mechanic on every killer, who likes to play Killers because of their power anyway?

I don't think there gonna touch Huntresses basekit

I'm gonna call her other iridescent addon rn
Iridescent mp3 player
A mysterious electronic device that couldnt have existed in the Huntress' time. The melodies within open the listener's mind to possibilities
- hatchets can no longer down survivors, will instead apply deep wound
- slightly increases movement speed
- slightly increases charge time
- successful hatchet hits apply the oblivious effect for 30 seconds
- changes the huntress' lullaby to All-Star by Smash Mouth
"I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed" - Unknown, possibly Benedict Baker

Wait like 1-2 years. I would not be suprised.

Except the resource management system exists on the huntress. It's in the form of ammunition.

I'd use this regardless of the drawbacks for the music alone.

I do not understand either. The Huntress cannot carry an infinite amount of hatchets. Such limit already exists.
The Huntess needs above all some adjustments in these addons and maybe a little freshness. The instadown, for now, could have a distance condition. Since this new Leatherface, an addon (or maybe even basekit ?) allowing to directly recover the hatchet having hit a survivor when the Huntress picks up this survivor does not seem to me uninteresting and inconsistent either.
These proposed changes seem to make you lose all connection to reality.

probably limit her range eventually, if they think Billy is unfair because he can chainsaw across map, eventually Huntress will get range limit like Deathslinger.
being able to blindly throw a hatchet across map at an aura wont last forever

But they definitely change her addon since they already mention it

How will they give her a Red Bar to her power....
Hm....I KNOW! They'll introduce a "over heat" mechanic if you charge her hatchet too much. She'll get tired and you won't be able to wind up her hatchet for 100 seconds.
-_-

#GiveHuntressChargeBar
Huntress needs overheat mechanic next, Bubba cant hold his chainsaw up, she cant hold her hatchet.
2 -
My bet is she will get a 120 seconds cooldown on collecting hatches so "you cant just spam them"

Oh, how about a 50% chance that the handle of the Hatchet hits the survivor instead of the head of the Hatchet and deals no damage and gives survivors a speed boost? Of course on top of the necessary charge bar.

Can we get a skin that changes her hatchets to "boots" instead, so I can yell "Boot to the head" every time a hatchet doesn't injure them?
