How'd I depip???
Thisl game is infuriatingly killer centric! I got 2 hook saves, 2 gens and escaped against huntress with mori and insta down hatchets! I escaped 3 chases as well, maxing me on chase. 1 teammate gave up on hook in first min of match , and I depip cause I got 0 emblems in altruism??? Honestly, this game is pissing me off. From quiter teammates, to ridiculous killer hit boxes, hook camping and tunnelling. The balance for killers is too much.

you do not gain the emblem points if the survivor unhooked gets downed shortly after hook.

The game was garbage, but I managed to escape via the exit gate and received 19.5k for match, and depipped. In another match I received 14k and almost doubled...seems lopsided.

Lol the balance for killers is too much? That's why they nerfed ruin to obsolete, Hillbilly's chainsaw cooldown and took away a nurse blink? What more do potato survivors want?

Let's not make this a war against killers and survivors. They don't make the emblem system.
Ever seen a tombstone Myers 4k? They almost always depip. Also 0 altruism with 2 hook saves? You did some unsafe hooks.

Correction: You LOSE points from a survivor who you saved gets downed immediately which is around 150% of the unhook points.
Also you lose points for survivor's giving up or DCing on hook(Which is dumb).

Altruism is a team effort. Look more at the randoms that you were partnered with, rather than the game system.
I think that you'll find the Huntress there also de-pipped since instant-downs penalise them heavily, same with using a mori.

It's literally easier to rank up with survivor and killer by like... a lot. There's an overabundance of potato survivors at red ranks ruining solo queue for people and has been a topic of concern for people for a long time. I can't imagine how you could have trouble ranking up on survivor.
