The problem with the bloodweb

I think that the bloodweb could use a bit of tweaking. The very nature of the bloodweb is RNG, and adding new killers into the game only adds perks that usually just add to the clutter. At level 50, a perfect 32K game usually only grants about 2/3 of a level, and that usually doesn't happen for survivors if they are against a strong killer.

I wish i could say "This is what we need to do!", but honestly I don't know. I just wish the bloodweb could feel more reliable. Personally, I haven't even SEEN BBQ throughout roughly 100 levels as clown.

TL;DR

Just add some sort of consistency please?

Use bloodpoint perks like WGLF or BBQ.

That's the problem. if you cant get any of those, then what?

Honestly? I'd probably just prestige at that point.

If you don't have any of the perks you want at level 50, it's going to cost a metric fuckton to get them. It might be better to just prestige and take your chances again from level 1 for all those nice, cheap levels.

WGLF is a free perk on either platform through David King. BBQ sometimes comes up in the shrine but otherwise is a recommended purchase.

No, they're talking about them just never popping up on the web.

It's really easy to hit level 50, cycle through many more levels after that, and still not see certain perks. Especially if you've picked up every teachable.

Leveling itself just takes to long. The whole process of holding M1 and waiting for the entity to consume stuff is to slow and boring af.

Using up 1 million bp just takes 10+ minutes of braindead M1 holding. The process needs to be speeded up aswell

    I agree with this.

Personally, I get characters to level 50, and then use up all of their items before I Prestige them. As killer, I often get BBQ in the bloodweb before P3, but as soon as I hit P3 it's like it becomes more rare. Some killers saw BBQ early on in P3, but that was before the bloodweb functionality was changed. The characters I've prestiged to p3 since that change haven't seen BBQ until I have almost all perks unlocked, which includes Huntress, Nurse, Shape, Oni and Hillbilly. I'm about to P3 executioner, but I want to use all of his Gateaus before I do so, I will be sure to let y'all know how soon I get BBQ after P3ing him, lol.

On top of that, when I'm navigating the killer bloodweb, more often than not the entity is a complete ass. He will jump all the way across the bloodweb just to take an item I'm going for, then I'll switch paths and he will jump over and take that, which I could have gotten had I not wasted the nodes going for the other item. It's like double punishment, lol.

This doesn't happen when I am leveling up survivors; it seems toned down, honestly. When leveling up survivors I almost always see WGLF or Self-Care within the first 50 levels, too.

Iunno... I leveled up ghostface to P3 within a few days of his release, and unlocked all perks. The entity was much 'nicer' as it's behavior was predictable, and if you were careful you could manipulate it into consuming most of the bloodweb. But it's like y'all got really mad about doing that sort of thing, and now just make leveling up sort of punishing. The entity seems to go wherever the hell it wants, and is usually gunning for whatever you are heading towards, which is annoying. Previously it would prioritize the item with more rarity. But nope, now it prioritizes addons, and ######### loves to make me buy stage offerings which I effing hate.

I see. If a player has not been prestiging characters, this is a nonissue. Just keeping dumping points until you get what you want on that character.

If you are goaling to prestige and you haven’t been prestiging, but now want to: you shot yourself in the foot pretty badly and there’s no reversal.

I now have prestiged seventeen killers so I’m always stoked with getting an early BBQ. Right now with the event BBQ gives you such a small amount of extra bloodpoints that I just keep playing new killers I want to prestige without it.

If OP is in this situation where their killers are not prestiged but wants to: get as many killers completed during this event. Then when getting bad bloodwebs later, use the completed killers to get them to the result they want. Rinse, repeat.
