An alternative Idea to deal with toxicity.

This is somewhat based on Titanfall, some of you may already know where im going with this.

How about instead of banning players we put them in a seperate pool. SWF and Ranks are disabled there.

Lets put all the toxic kids, cheaters, exploiters, smurfs, disconnectors, sandbaggers, hostage takers etc. in one disgusting and insufferable cesspool. Where they can learn how it feels like having their experience ruined by kids who frequently get their Monster Energy snapbacks smacked of their heads by adults in real life.

Of course most offenses should only put them there temporarily. And increase with each visit while the rest of us can enjoy the game without them.

I am all for making the game a better place but most things people consider toxic is not really toxic l. It just people take it too personally.

    Thing like

Constantly clicking the flash light, tea nagging at pallet obviously these kind of think they can outbeat you so go for the challenge and take them out.

negative message, turn the post chat thing off or go in friend mode only. I don’t know if thins is possible on steam.

Friday the 13th did something similar or was planning to with players gaining a salt level based on bad behaviours, and enough salt put you in the salt mines, a matchmaking system for people with the same or more level of salt. Good behaviour slowly removed salt and you could then return to normal mm away from the salt mines.

    I thought that was neat.

I wasnt talking about things like t bagging and hitting on hooks. The minimum should be insulting players for no reason.

A good idea, but in order for it to work, we need a functioning report system. And even then, people will report for anything, regardless of whether it was toxic or not. The killer camped me? Report him. That survivor blinded me? Report him. Some things aren't as toxic as they're made out to be. And when it comes to cheaters and hackers, I think the game is better if those players were banned for good.

Funny - I found an extremely toxic and corrosive planet in No Man's Sky today. When I uploaded my discovery to the servers, I named it "Dead By Daylight Community".

I'll be making it's portal co-ordinates available to anybody who wants it as soon as I build a base next to it. I'm thinking of naming the base "Try Hard Station" or something else equally silly.

But yah, it's sad that was the first name that came to mind when my suit computer chimed "Extreme Toxicity Detected" after I got out of my ship

Imagine how long killers would need to wait, if 90% of survivors would be in that pool.

Consider the lobby wait times part of the punishment, besides there are plenty of Killers who are toxic by themselves.

People claim that we dont even have enough players for a separate normal queue. I know, its kinda pathetic, but thats how it is

To bad, imagine how much more entertaining twitch streams would get when most of them will inevitably end up there.
