Is the forever chainsaw intended?
New bubba chainsaw plus pwyf with the ultra rares and infectious fright you can basically down all 4 survivors by using one stack of pwyf. True almost does it without it.

Each re use uses a stack so that's not true off bat. Second yes it appears the addons are working as intended and frankly..if all 4 survivors die to that they kinda deserve it as theres several ways to shut down the sprint and put him on extended cd..plus hes stick swinging the saw and wastes time after getting a down..its way more risky than it looks

It is not. That's a bug that's already fixed, but the fix didn't make it into the PTB in time. It's totally normal for the charges to refresh completely and restart the entire chainsaw sweep over, but the duration is not supposed to stack like you can see at 3:45.
Basically downing a survivor is meant to give you three charges, which would then give you three charges worth of sweep when activated, not a sweep over 50 swings long.

You'd still have to admit though in a dead zone or open map like DD saloon He's gonna get more then one player if he knows what he's doing. Even if they run he'll catch up and recharge in no time. So no im not gonna say they deserve it.

What dead zone, every area has at least one good pallet, the saloon has 3 strong windows, so yes I'd say they do

Even with this being unintentional, people are still going to play infectious fright Leatherface with 3 charges of sweeps now. Wow, can't wait to go against that every round... yayy.... I guess it's time to run calm spirit now.

It's like all of us who enjoyed the way Billy's chainsaw originally worked can thank all the Crack Billies and Insta Saws running around with Infectious and Bamboozle getting a 4-man slug at 5 gens, or chewing all the pallets in under 2 minutes, for ruining a good thing.

Except infectious fright played on one-shot killers is a brain dead tactic.
In a few weeks there will be killers complaining about calm spirit, guaranteed. After dealing with infectious fright Oni, Plague, Billy, I can see people running it a lot more now thanks to the new Bubba turned infectious fright tunneler from basement camper. I know I'm making it a permanent.

I highly doubt people will complain about calm spirit unless it gets directly buffed. You are using a perk slot to be immune to a perk slot, a perfectly even trade.

It's usually the jerks who abuse the high end meta builds that ruin it for everyone else.

Of those, I only use DS - and that's simply because I couldn't deal with tunnelers anymore.
Anyways, I'm not sure how your response correlates to describing specific killers using a specific perk to get easy, quick downs.

I must say it's the funniest bug I have seen on DbD though, watching streamers traversing the map with the chainsaw swinging about had me chuckling a few times. Overall I am happy it was indeed a bug :p

Well they do if they can't make it so a single pallet or loop I mean even DD saloon you can get to a window or pallet in time especially since you can hear his chainsaw from across the map that gives you ample time to get to somewhere safe. If there all on a gen together then that's a risk you now run against bubba you're risking letting him get multiple downs. And you have to remember if a survivor just runs somewhere with a wall next to them or in a small area the bubba needs to be skillful to not hit the walls and cause a massive stun for him which gives your team time to recover and heal people off the floor. If he gets two down then he gets two downs. His been buffed and should be powerful compared to what he was. He isn't op. He's just gonna be harder to play against from now on.

I honestly have no idea.
Balance should be around Basekits. If anything or anyone is over performing, tweek the addons.
Basekits aren't strong, they're balanced (in my opinion).

Yeah all you literally have to do is counter this is vault a window. These survivors were on haddonfield where this happened which shouldn't be possible but they played and outpositioned themselves so badly.

Run calm spirit or just don't get downed, i suppose the latter for you seems like an impossible feat against a power that's countered by vaulting a window.

I get the frustration, but my ears perknup at any hint of the meta being tweaked, lol.
I honestly wouldn't mind if periodic reworks cause shifts in play and counterplay. They may not all be good, but at least it's something new to explore.

Yeah, THANKS GUYS. God I HATE that I don't have to run charge speed or movement speed add ons every single game AND now I don't need to clip the model of the chainsaw through a survivor before I even start to charge it to land a hit. Absolutely terrible that he's good now.

this may be a new concept to you, but players enjoy different things. I liked the way Bubba chainsaw was different than Billy, opinions vary and mine is mine. I preferred Bubba to Billy and I have every right to say it. When you share the opinion of everyone else, you dont have an opinion, you have conditioning.
