ok do you like getting hit with getting hit with ds cause the only thing you can do sometimes is tunnel the survivor to death cause gens are going way to fast and the best way to fix this is eliminate one of the survivors

If I’m tunneling then I should get hit with DS, I get sometimes when you aren’t tunneling you get hit but that is extremely rare.

Like I said, hooking a survivor brings a lot of pressure onto the map because one survivor is temporarily put out of the game and someone else has to go grab them with the killer nearby to make it worse, with cages however, it automatically puts the survivor far away from the killer and he doesn't know where they are, making there little to no risk to saving. Cages would just become worse hooks if they didn't counter hook perks, there'd literally be no put in using them, the only exception would be if you're being swarmed by other survivors with flashlights and the downed survivor is at a pallet.

You have a pretty good idea where it spawns and if hook perks worked for it then that would actually be good for you, it would open up new strategies with bbq and devour hope would be amazing on him. It also still saves you time.

And I suppose you have proof that I use those perks every match? 🤔 I quite rarely use DS and BT. Although if you can’t counter these perks or just deal with them then are you really a red rank killer? I know that they don’t bother me.

I enjoy the vault build, because I don't need crutch perks to get out of bad situations that I put myself into.

Had someone bought me directly to the cage. The cage suddenly vanished to another location. If a survivor is running toward an area it usually due to a cage site against pyramid head.

There's downsides to caging too. You don't get to choose where somebody is, which is often times where killers get their opportunity to snowball: when they can get multiple survivors disabled or off generators, trying to help each other. Yeah, you could cage somebody but honestly with every discussion about PH I'm starting to see less and less uses out of it.

Sure, make your little crutch perks work with cages - as soon as DS gets reworked so it's actually anti-tunnel and not just 60 seconds of superman.

Literally every Pyramid Head I see uses cages and goes to the noise notification to tunnel people.

Any perk is a crutch if you rely on them, as for DS and BT, they aren’t my crutch perks as I rarely use them. In fact, I quite commonly go on sprees of using no perks. How about you get evidence before you assume things to try to validate yourself? 🤔

No, if anything it's better that way, you have to decide whether it's worth it or not, yes it still saves time at first, but like I've said three times now, the cage can spawn right next to another survivor, instantly killing the pressure you just got. Having an educated guess as to where the cage is doesn't even matter, because if you decide to haul ass over there immediately, there's still the chance a survivor won't be there and now you've wasted your own time. Another thing, while looking you could just accidentally run into it and it immediately respawns elsewhere. Making the cages affected by hook perks would help survivors way more than killers, I don't get how you can't understand this, by making them affected by hook perks they'd just become inferior hooks that take slightly less time to get to because you don't have to carry the survivor.

Unless he cages you when he's in the middle of the map, then he needs to make an educated guess as to where tf you went. Like I'm not saying he can't tunnel but he probably has a harder time of doing it than other killers.

Even if they DO find the cages, PH cant camp them because the cage will simply move. The way the cages spawn, its MUCH more likely one of your teammates will be able to get you out of one WAY before PH shows up. The only real cases here of PH tunneling someone from cages must occur when survivors do unsafe rescues with PH nearby. Simply holding off when the PH is nearby will transfer the cage away from his location.

do you not get those are crutch perks for survivor ds allows the survivor to be a dickhead for a minute and paired with unbreakble it becomes even more bs problem with bt is it allows survivors to do unsafe hooks in the killers face

As a PH main I'd love to have hook perks work with cages but in the end it'd still make BT and DS useless against them. You'd just be giving PH a serious amount of snowball potentional in the game. Caging somebody would just be free Devour Hope, Make your Choice, Huntress Lullaby stacks among other perks. Hell you could cage somebody, break their generator with Pop goes the Weasel and start heading across the map with no time lost. By the time PH gets there he can just easily slap down the rescuer with absolutely no down time at all. I understand that getting slapped off the cage only to get hooked sucks but wanting all hook perks to work with cages is a monkey paw, there'd be no need to tunnel people off cages anymore because he'll have the power to annihilate your teammates instead while you're off licking your wounds. Again I'd love the changes but you better be careful for what you wish for.

kind of agree to be honest, maybe not with Borrow time but at least with DS. cage saves time and makes impossible to save that person with a pallet drop or a flashlight already,

So? I don't think you realize what PH has to actually do to get somebody in a cage. Everybody likes to forget that PH has to get you tormented to do anything like that to you.
He has to get you tormented, which takes much longer than if he just goes in for regular attacks and just downs you. He spent all that time chasing, only to send somebody to a cage, and get saved instantly more than likely.
You're telling me you want to allow DS and BT to work with that? Why would anybody waste time tormenting and caging people anymore then? Once again, I don't think you realize what has to happen for people to get caged.
With what you're suggesting, the only thing a cage would be good for is as you said, saving just a little time picking somebody up and bringing them to the hook. Thing is, that's not smart whatsoever if you're just going to waste all the extra time getting them tormented, just for you to lose all your pressure. There would be practically no point to the cages. It would almost always be a disadvantage. I don't see why you wouldn't regularly hook people at that point when you get to 1. choose where it happens, 2. the hook doesn't disappear on you if you want to camp, 3. you can immediately start setting trails around the hook area to slow people down and have the chance to torment them.
Please, tell me what sort of advantages other than "save a little time picking somebody up" that caging would give you at that point.

That is the optimal play for the killer. My question is why are you getting rescue when the killer is close. The caged survivor is not completly at fault but in a way he did get cage so he did some missplay before that point but the one who uncage you is at fault he should never uncage you if the killer is close. This is a teamate missplay and the cage survivor pay the price for that mistake just like any team game

Bt is fine the reason people complaine about ds is because they run it with unbreakable to have free gen pressure cant slug cant pick them up

DS and BT do not need to be applicable at all times. That is why they are meta perks, because they still work in the vast majority of cases. Perks should be situational, and help you do certain things. Want to open the doors faster? Bring Wake Up, or Spine Chill. Want to have a head start in a chase? Use sprint burst to go a quarter across a map instantly...
It should be up to the player to make the most out of a perk, not the perk itself being stupidly broken. IE: Skill over inherent strength. Right now, DS and BT have the problem of that a braindead player can use the perks just like a good player, and you couldn't tell the difference.

I actually hope they make more killers that have less incentive to run the same build all the time. It gets boring going against BBQ, pop, and sloppy every game. I like that hook perks don't work with cages.

Not every Survivor uses what you define as “crutch perks”. The ones that do have every right to and so do Killers, get over it.
I’m sure there are vast amounts of Survivors who are tired of having to bring the same perks every trial because majority of Killers play the same. This is a valid argument, if I do say so myself.

Seems like the only way you’ll be satisfied with playing Killer is if Survivor stood still and allowed you to kill them with no difficulty. I don’t think that’s how the game works.

Uhm, why would it make one a dh for using crutch perks? i use them, i use them A LOT, a whole lot of crutch perks. Why? i like them. Why? Because of some killers that tunnel. Where does it say in the world of dead by daylight that you can't run what ever perks you like??? The perks are there to be used, as one likes, their buld, their choice. I play a lot with @GrootDude and can say full well he doesn't to carry anyone and rarely uses such perks, maybe think about what you say before insulting someone.
