Please nerf Hex: Ruin slightly.
As a survivor main, every time I jump into a game and notice Ruin is in play, I know I'm not going to have anywhere near as much fun in that particular round. Not because I have a problem with Ruin in general, but I truly believe it is a bit on the strong side. It forces me to spend almost the entire game on one generator (until someone just happens to find the totem) as when I back away to hide from the killer and get back again, a big chunk of the progress is gone - and if I leave to go help a hooked survivor, I'll be lucky if the gen has any repair left on it.
Instead of 200% regression, I would happily accept a 180% regression. Only a slight nerf that won't hurt it too much but allow me to have a bit more fun/fighting chance in the game.

hex ruin isn’t even that frustrating to cope, sure it’s difficult but it’s not OP or anything. I find it it’s just an effective perk but doesn’t ruin the whole game. I can think of way more bullshit perks or add ons that take the fun out of the game than ruin. It’s a basic perk and for me its totem usually gets found fairly quickly

I wouldn't go as far as to say it ruins the game, it certainly doesn't - I still have fun with it in play but nowhere near as much fun when I play without it, I just hope the consider a slight nerf to it, nothing major of course as killers still need to have useful perks.

A change from 0.5 charges to 0.45 charges per second.
It takes current ruin ~160 seconds to completely regress a gen. Why would you want to increase that to ~178 ?
Theres no need for such a nerf. Especially for "just" 0.05 c/s.

Because it will make the game "just" a bit more fun and less "well here we go, let's play hunt the totem and hope we find it before we lose"

Yeah but neither suggesting to change something when there are already tools to counter it. I mentioned Repressed Alliance because it directly counters the perk, but there are others to help you cleanse totems like Small Game and maps, which are free and useful against other hexes too.

I don't think you understand how weak killer is right now, stop trying to nerf them further. Survivors have more than enough tools at their disposal to deal with a slightly annoying hex.

Ruin is already trash for non-hypermobile killers. The killer can't pressure that many gens.

Killers would like to have fun too you know. It is not all about your fun. When you see there is Ruin, go find it and cleanse it. No regression on gens anymore. Ezpz.

Hex: Ruin right now is bad design. I just sit on gens, and I'm forced to sit there if I don't want to have wasted my time repairing. Looking for the totem happens immediately after I finish a gen or at the start of a match. Otherwise, it just doesn't happen, and someone else usually finds it before the match is over. I had a match some time ago where the killer brought Pop and would have had ample opportunity to use it, but Ruin was still up (and not doing a great job of regressing the gens either), so I was very thankful for Ruin that match (but it's still **** design).
Old Hex: Ruin would have been fine if the devs had added an activation requirement to it. (Maybe gens completed give stacks sort of like how Lullaby functions? More skill checks on gens become ruinous with more stacks and greats result in -2% progression.)

I mean you saying slight nerf tells me it’s not necessary considering if your gen was fully regressed by the time you got back to it those extra 18 seconds that it would take ruin to fully regress a gen won’t matter. The totem can be found at any time and could be gone immediately where it wasn’t even a problem but if you know ruin is active and you continue to work on your gen in fear of loss of progress then that’s on you instead of getting off early to look for it kind of the point of the perk. This isn’t even taking into account how other teammates should be doing gens while someone’s getting chased and even if it’s a mediocre average chase there’s 60seconds of them on the hook before going to next stage and if you haven’t done more than 20% of the gen then you didn’t really do much while they were getting chased.
I’ll still take you up on that offer of 180% if when ruin is destroyed that the value gets halved and is active since devs don’t want regression perks to compliment each other.

Ruin rewards killers for applying pressure. It literally does nothing if survivors are able to work on a gen from 0% progress to 100% progress. Honestly Hex: Ruin is in a fine spot.

Blocked gens don't regress meaning repressed alliance would prevent ruin regression for 30 seconds.

I agree. When I play solo new Ruin is even more frustrating than old Ruin.
You spend a minute or so on a gen holding M1. Its pumping away at 80-90% completion. The killer comes along and chases you off. You get chased for a bit, you either lose them and heal etc or you get hooked. Either way you come back to your gen and its now at 20% or lower even completely dead at times. Which means now you have to hold M1 for another minute on top of what you have already done.
Its a really boring perk that sucks the fun out of the game. It’s basically the Legion of perks. You can try to find the totem first but if its an indoor map then you’re not winning that game as it will take so long to find it.
Meanwhile if you’re in a 4 man group you can just ask someone else to work on your gen while you’re being chased.
New Ruin wasn’t a bad idea but it is yet another perk that greatly increases the gap between solo and swf. At least old Ruin didn’t delete your progress.

Or you could take literally like 30 seconds and remove it from the match entirely, rather than just whining about how it's ruining your match.
