Has rank reset changed?
On the rank reset for Monday, 13 July 2020, my rank was reset from rank 5 3 pips which is where i was at, however it really confused me when my new rank was rank 10 4 pips, which from what i was last rank reset (last month) rank 5 2 pips and being reset to rank 7 makes no sense, surely i should be rank 7 again now?

Yeah people are apparently having problems with rank reset. In fact, in both of the rank resets you mentioned, you should have went down to rank 9 no pips, because the way it works is that it resets you back to the highest rank of the previous color.

Perhaps you managed to depip during the rank reset, so you went down to rank ten, 4 pips.

Survivor rank 3 with two pips after reset Killer went from rank 8 to rank 7? Unless I just completely missed my killer rank
