Why are my generator skill checks laggy?

Since i purchased this game 2 years ago, the skill checks that occur while repairing a generator are 90% of the time choppy/laggy. I have vsync turned off and i'm playing at 120 fps @144hz. But do you know what really weird part is? All of the other skill checks seem fine to me. Whether it be healing s/c, doctor s/c etc etc. I originaly had this problem when the game was locked @60fps, but then i changed the settings from the file and achieved 120 fps but the problem persisted. Anyone else out there with a solution or at least the same problem?

    probably something on the games end if all other skill checks are fine if you can still hit them i wouldn't worry too much

    the internet or that you have more processes running on the pc. or sometimes it is the internet of the rest of the players maybe.
