16 pallets ######### devs

Some of these maps are flat out broken and need to be looked at.

Just had a game on preschool with 16+ pallets, about 12 of them used before all 5 gens were completed. Nobody looped with them efficiently. Instead everyone just ran to them and immediately burned them without making space for themselves.

The best survivors I see frequently waste a ton of the killer's time with just 1 pallet. If the players in that game had played like the best survivors I've seen, then only 6 or so pallets would have been used before the gens were done. Meaning there would only be another 10 or so left to make it to the exit gates.

What kind of sick joke is this game across the boards? Devs basically condone the principle of the majority bullying minorities systematically through these horrific balance issues. Especially when you take into account how SWFs can escalate harassment, taunting and trolling to completely ruin a solo players experience like a gang. If its not significant abuse in the game from the balance issues and intentionally trying to irritate the solo player, then it is certainly in the end game chat whether survivors win or lose. All the killers are characters that are weird and the players behind them are receiving high school bully treatment because the devs designed it this way. This game manufactures toxicity by utilizing asymmetric game play to foster an environment of isolating the weaker faction.

I thought we were in an era of democracy, equal freedoms and civil rights. I challenge every single dev of this game to grind out 150 games of killer and see how you feel by the end of it when you are fighting against experienced players and gangs.

Did you actually COUNT the pallets? Also did you just chase 1 survivor through pallet city until finally downing them before ever choosing to chase another target?

When I’m killer, everyone always finds a pallet and there’s soooo many

when I’m a survivor, there are no pallets anywhere and they’ve all been broken when I run into one

well that’s not true exactly of course but it feels that way!

I may be incorrect here but I think the Pallet RNG allows HUGE differences in the same map.

I think of one of the farm maps there can be a minimum of 6 Pallets but a max of 14 or something.

Maybe they should try to remove the rng on maps, theres now way more maps then in the beginning of the game. But Dont know if people would even like RNG to be removed

i have seen 8 pallets max 10 thats nothing HUGE DEADZONES everywhere thats unfun. i would like to see your perks, killer. etc RNG sometimes helps killer sometimes helps survivors. and i would appreciate some updates with that, with RNG being so detrimental, it shouldnt be such an important factor

The preschool maps always have that many pallets, because most of them are mindgameable, and therefore killers have counterplay at those pallets. So it doesn‘t really matter that the maps have so many pallets, thats just so that survivors have less of a chance to end up in a deadzone.

I guess you kick every pallet as soon as a survivor drops one, but that‘s not how you should do it. Instead, you need to learn to play around the pallets as a killer. It takes practice, but those maps are arguably some of the most balanced maps in the game.

Had a game where like 4 pallets spawned. I'm not kidding. I forgot which map. No main building, lots of trees. Ran this Pyramid Head around and there was... just no pallets. Found one pallet and stunned him with it. Ran through several of the loop structures around but no pallets, not even broken ones. Ran to one that was dropped by a teammate earlier and hopped it. PH destroyed it. And then we pretty much ran the entire map before he downed me at the 3rd pallet I found.

Was playing with my brother and we were both confused as ######### as the lack of pallets on the map.

I know the game's not supposed to do this but there was pretty much one pallet at each side of the map. This was only once though.

I think this kind of thing being a problem or not really depends on how safe the pallets are. If every pallet is incredibly unsafe to stay at to loop then it's fine to have a lot of them to try to make up for it.

I do have those matches where I'll have chases that I have to drop because there are pallets at every tile set. Sometimes, that bugs me. However, that's the nature of the game. Forcing pallet drops to open deadzones for later becomes a requires skill to learn. If the game was slower, the issue wouldn't be seen as much.

That was the idea when they reworked the preschool to begin with. They wanted to do away with having just abunch of super safe pallets that HAD to be broken once thrown down, while also adding to the overall number of pallets so you wouldnt have large portions of the map that were just dead zones. The idea being that rather than having 8 pallets on the whole map, but having them being super safe... You'd have like 14 pallets on the map, with MOST of them being playable by the killer without having to kick them.

There should be a set number instead

There should be a set amount of pallets so this doesn't happen either.

The range should not be 4-20 pallets on a map.

It should be more about 10 will spawn on this map. Here are all the possible locations
