Huntress need work imo.
Don't worry, this isn't a duplicate post saying her hatchets are messed up(though I'll probably mention them).
Read the edit below
I've been a Huntress main myself for the 100's of hours I've played this game, so I do have a bias, and by no means am a Rank 1 pro, so I'm open to any input, and I do hope for actual discussion and not insults, that's the point of this post. I honestly believe Anna needs a bit of work, she's been one of the stronger killers for awhile, but as of late has been getting nerfed, this recent patch being nerfed to the ground
(Hatchets have been reverted, but regardless she has seen nerfs as of late, namely the Babushka and Grass Braid). But even before then, she could be weak at times, even Tru3Ta1ent believes she's very overrated. Anna's power literally requires her to search out lockers to "refill" her power, this would be okay if she weren't one of the slowest killers. All of the other slow killers are similar to Huntress, in the fact that they have ranged damage potential, but Huntress is different in the fact that she doesn't move herself, making her have very poor map control, and struggles on large maps. Another difference is of course the fact that she's required to search for lockers, meaning her "cooldown" time of hatchets completely rely's on the quality of map design, as opposed to every other killer(except trapper) who can "recharge" their powers on the go, and if anyone has played Huntress, they probably know alot of maps haven't been designed with this killer in mind. This leads into my main balance idea(note: I heard this idea from someone else, but this idea hasn't been acknowledged by the devs, so I thought I'd try to expand upon it, and post it in the forums on the off chance the devs read this).
What if, as the Huntress uses her hatchets, her movement speed gradually increases, having 0 Hatchets would result in a normal 115% killer movement speed. As it is, once Huntress loses all of her Hatchets, all of her time committed to a chase can be wasted as she's almost forced to leave that chase an refill; The alternative being to M1 as one of the slowest killers in the game. With this speed change it'd especially help in this situation, now even though her power is gone, she has the potential to finish a chase she spent time on, assuming the player is skilled enough in mindgames and chasing. This speed would also of course help her make it to lockers quickly, in certain maps the lockers can be far out of the way, this allows her to still rely on lockers, but not be punished quite as bad on maps with bad design.
(Alot of this part has been cut due to the Hatchet hitbox fix(thank you devs!)) On a side note, the collision on many of these map's clutter can be extremely bad(even the tutorial has fatshame spots), please devs, look over some of the props in your game and think to yourself(could a Huntress throw through/around this?)
TL;DR: Huntress should gain speed as she loses hatchets to improve her map control, and to help her get to lockers on poorly designed maps.
That's my main rant/points, I hope a dev sees it and atleast thinks about the Huntress' current state. And please give input if you'd like, It'd be useful to get some input from the opposite side of the Axe.
[EDIT]
Huntress' Hitboxes are now how they were prior to the Spirit Update, which imo having the occasional BS shot is much better than getting no shots. Still, I stand by some of the suggestions, as even before that nerf she was fairly overrated, but it's definitely a good sign from the devs that they've fixed her.

Good suggestions. The huntress received 3 nerfs in a row that completely ruined her.
First the decrease in the percentage of Hatchet wind-up time addons, then the smaller hitboxes of the survivors without limbs (All the surviving women are smaller than the men and it is much more difficult to hit them with a hatchet), and now that decreased the speed of the Bloodlust makes the Huntress an unusable killer.
The idea of speed of movement you are right and should be something similar to the doctor in terms that is variable (with hatchets its speed is 110% and without hatchets 115%), it is also very necessary to review the hitboxes of the maps (all those who have boxes, debris and vehicles that hit invisible walls) and survivors, because for her it is much more difficult to hit a shot with walls, trees, debris, lag, and now small hitboxes of survivors.
Also the revision of the addons "Manna Grass Braid" and "Flower Babushka" so that they return to their previous values to Patch 2.1.0 (remember devs: "Tinkerer" it no longer affects the loading speed, so that nerf was not necessary in those addons).
And finally something suggested by other publications is that fully loaded hatchets can break pallets.
It would be a good improvement after having ruined her before. (PD: Google Translator).1 -

(PD: Google Translator).I was going to touch on addons and such but I decided I wouldn't add more to my wall of text, but I do agree her addons could be looked at as well. It would also be interesting to see more gameplay changing addons rather than the current status effect addons.

Well the truth is there are some add-ons that do not have a great use in the game (the recharge time in the lockers for example). And there could be some that remove the sound of the growl when preparing the launching of hatchets (for surprise attack), that reduce the lullaby sound (it is heard farther than the radius of terror and it is also directional what indicates its position) or simply add to crosshair as the nurse's addon.
In reality, talking about murderers, because only 3 killers (Hag, Huntress and Spirit) have a lower movement speed than other assassins (the Nurse is an exception),if their primary and secondary attacks do not overthrow in one blow and depend too much on their secondary attack (Spirit has a very good secondary speed, so for her and hillbilly it would be good if it was 110%, but the huntress without axes and hag without traps only can chase and hit with M1).
In addition we must mention the perks that need a revision and buff, because currently without ultra-rare addons it is impossible to make the achievement only with its 3 perks since it seems that they were not designed for her.
Best of Prey: with the current bloodlust you never reach the survivor in a loop.
Territorial Imperative: more than 32 meters from the basement, you can not reach it if someone enters to rescue a survivor because his speed is slow.
Hex: Huntress Lullaby: as every totem has the disadvantage of being destroyed and warns of its existence before having 1 token.Suggestions:
Best of prey: (if it does not increase the base speed of the Huntress), when bloodlust is activated, remove the red mark, reduce the terror radius and the lullaby song to 0 and increase the movement speed by 3/4/5% (Beast of Prey has a cooldown of 60 seconds).Territorial Imperative: at any distance from the basement, it warns you of the presence of someone and shows your aura while it stay there.
Hex Huntress Lullaby: leave it like this, but change weekly the location of all totems on all maps to prevent veteran survivors from knowing where the totems may appear.

I know this thread isn't directly about the Huntress and her hit boxes, but... just to show how bad the hitboxes are in the current iteration, here's a nice clip showing why: https://clips.twitch.tv/AthleticTolerantWoodcockANELE
At this rate I wish they'd just revert the hit box changes until they actually do the change properly and not halfass it like they did this patch. Even some of the most die-hard survivor mains think how weak and broken she is this patch is laughable and are taking pity on Huntress mains. I've literally had people killing themselves for me after opening the exit gates when playing Anna because they feel that bad after my hatchet went through them for the 12th time. I can't imagine reverting the change would be difficult or time consuming to do. Better than waiting multiple weeks for a fix with her this broken. Properly fixing her from this state WOULD take multiple weeks if not a couple months to do and that's just the hit boxes alone and not any of the other problems she has with the current state of the game.
I made a topic on my take on it a few days back, wondering what you'd think about it https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/21190/please-bhvr-please-about-huntress#latest
To the OP's suggestion I gotta say it's not a bad one at all, she really wasn't as strong as most made her out to be. without any map control and poor time to execute cause of her speed and reload0 -
and she will get another nerf on her 1 insta down

I did a post with my take on this, would like to know your opinion: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/21190/please-bhvr-please-about-huntress#latest
With regards to the Op, I agree with your suggestion. She was already overrated imo, with no map control and terrible time management given her reload and overall speed. That would definitely be a way of putting her more on par on that

No, thank you for posting this! It shows how little consideration and testing they did with that change. Those hit boxes are made for Melee attacks, not hatchets, and that's the main problem; If they wanted to make the Hatchets hitboxes more realistic then they should have went over the survivor hitboxes and made sure the situation was fair on both parties.

I had an idea about beast of prey that would be stronger, but require some skill from the player at the same time. Essentially each hit on a survivor grants 1 token(So one full chase normally ends with 2 tokens).
When in a chase, clicking the special action button will consume two tokens, but removes your connection to the entity, reducing your terror radius and removing the red stain for a set amount of time(If this seems too weak because of the tokens, perhaps a small speed boost too). This would be less situational, and allow you to manually remove the stain when at a mindgamable place, but would require the user to get two tokens(i.e. win one chase). One thing that I know should be changed is Huntress lullaby, even before you're effected by the perk it alerts you, imo I dont think the survivor should be notified until the killer get's a hook and a skill check occurs, or until a skillcheck has been missed. That way the perk can actually do something before everyone get's alerted.
As for Territorial, just a small idea I had at this moment to make this less situational and have more of a use. If it somehow had some form of use with both the basement and the Entity's hooks. Of course the aura would be too strong just for a survivor at a hook, but perhaps if the survivor get's too close to a hook it could hint the killer in that direction.
These of course are all speculation, but I do agree that Huntress' perks could be looked at too, definitely.

I haven't faced very many Huntresses lately. 2 at the most. Did she really get nerfed that bad?0

@Doc_W__HOLLIDAY Look at the links I posted in the original post, you can see how bad they messed up the hitboxes. But as someone posted above as well, it's less that they broke her hitboxes and more that they reduced the Hatchet hitboxes but didn't compensate on the Survivor's hitboxes.
