NEW DC penalty idea. - Dev response plz? heh.

What would be funny is. If the survivor DC'd from the last match.

  • They get a "DUNCE" cap to wear for the next match. It won't be on that player's head until the match starts.
  • They have to generate a total of 20,000 BP before the cap and penalty goes away.
  • They have a reduced action speed of 20%
  • The character farts at random when near the killer (lolz, please tell me people here have humor).

    I think it would be funny to have this here. As kind of a way to punish the act in a passive-aggressive way. Im guilty. I rage a few times here and there. and i would deserve this too. lol. Comment below!

    If there's going to be any actual in-game punishment, I'd rather have them base-kit moriable on first down.


    They're gonna leave anyway, so we should do them a favor and save them the effort of pushing leave match by allowing the killer to yeet them out of the match for them.

    They need to fix their game before D/C penalties will be fair. As it is right now there are bugs that literally FORCE someone (either killer or survivor) to D/C because there's no way to fix them otherwise. People shouldn't have to face a penalty for the game being ######### as hell.

    Oh I will 100% agree the game's engine is not perfect. Followed by the connection system infrastructure in certain parts of the United States.

    I thought a goofy, funny DC system would be fair. A player just left the match.

    Ideas:

    They must work for 20,000-50,000 points (before offerings), before the penalty clears and a big OLD "Dunce cap" is on their character's head whenever they are in a match (players would lobby dodge otherwise). and until penalty clears.

    20% action speed reduction for the fact that player's need to be annoyed a bit for the leaving.

    • Generators are slower to that player (Debuff)
    • Vaulting is slower.
    • Run speed is slower.


    Or the exploration of some sort of "retribution" for the player's last disconnect? IE.

    • Have to perform 20 "Safe rescues" on survivors in order for it to clear?
    • The whole "Survivors lets out a loud FART" when a killer is nearby, just goofy and gross.
    • Player is stuck in cosmetics that are ALL yellow drab (yellow pants, yellow shirt, yellow hat) with the writing "IM A DESERTER" on the t-shirt ;-)
