Punish hook farming

This is a very simple change that would make hook farming less common and allow Killers to punish hook farmers: if you unhook someone while in the Killer's terror radius, you become exposed for 15 seconds. Borrowed Time would bypass this mechanic. Simple, efficient, effective.

You already get punished for safe unhooks - it gives you minus points at emblembs.

Yet they still occur. To me, that says they don't care about emblems. Might as well make it possible for the Killer to punish them by pitching a tent next to the hook.

That would be an extreme nerf to Borrowed Time users and be unfair vs a huge TR Doctor.

Hook farming needs punished for sure, but this isn't the way.

I forgot to mention that use of BT would exclude this mechanic, for obvious reasons, though I'm sure hook farmers will just start using it. I'll add it to the OP.

You’d still have people running up and making saves in the terror radius with borrowed time, allowing the killer to smack them the moment they hit the ground and continue chasing them. This would also make borrowed time almost necessary, as killers would get a free insta-down otherwise. Not all survivors have access to the perk and need to make saves at that last second with the exit gates powered. This change would punish those survivors as well. Probably would do more harm than good.

I can still pip without benevolence points and that's the problem, it's not enough! I can farm every survivor and the system would just say "No benevolence points for you!" And I'm like, "Ha jokes on you, I got iridescent on Lightbringer, Unbroken, & Evader! What are you gonna do?"

I wanna see this mechanic get added but I would tweak it just a little:

-Unhooking a survivor within 12 meters from the killer will give you the exposed status effect for 10 seconds.
-You won't get a warned about you having this status effect until after you are put into dying state.
-The notification will say this when you are put into dying state so you'll know why you was insta downed: "Exposed" -Farming
-If you are put into dying state or the unhooked survivor is put into dying state within 10 seconds from the unhook, you'll lose benevolence.

That's all because the developers are trying to reward farming by giving survivors more jail free cards for playing poorly, they need to discourage it and punish the unhooker!
