Are hitboxes from unhookers broken?!
So a lot of times, if a survivor rushes to the hook to unhook their teammates, I stood right behind them as killer and wanted to hit them.
But even if I stand right behind them, on their side of the hook, it happened many times that the weapon swings just through them and hits the person on the hook, which means nothing happens exept the killer has a cooldown from the swing and the survivors can get away.
A few times my camera was even pushed to the side and I hit the hook instead of the survivor....?
I don't even want to mention the amout of times the grab animation started and froze until the survivor got unhooked and blocks me with BT.
It happened multiple times now and did cost me a few wins and is super frustrating.
I just wanted to ask if others are experiencing the same thing, or is it just me?
I don't think it is an internet issue, since my connection is usually pretty good and I have a constant ping of 31ms.

Yes, there is NO WAY it's intended that you can hit a person who is on the hook through the person unhooking them. I've also had it happen so it's not just you.

Yeppp 100% same thing has happened to me I learned to wait till the unhook is done then go after the unhooker.

No it isn’t, it’s a bug. The devs have acknowledged it as a bug.

I really hope this is not true.
That would basically mean if someone unhooks another survivor in my face, I can just stand there and can't do anything about it, except for letting the unhook happen and hit the unhooker afterwards?
I highly dubt that this is intentional, and if it is, it is absolute bs.
Would be good to have a confirmation of the dev team though.

Have they acknowledged it really? At least I didn't find an acknowledged bug report. I myself made a bug report about this a few weeks ago and it hasn't been acknowledged.
I suggest everyone in this discussion also writes their concerns in the bug report section.

Hit the unhooker from the side. If the unhooker is between the killer and the hook, this seems to happen.
And it’s a bug. Some of y’all are silly.
