With Killers now locked, requesting Loadout feature for Killer
I would like to be able to save several different loadouts that can be quickly switched to instead of having to manually switch out perks, addons, or offerings; especially when there's not enough feasible time remaining to do so.

They should just explain, why they don't lock the survivors as well.

They said this is something they want to do there is no ETA at this moment peantis commented on a post like this awhile ago.

Yeah, that'd be nice. Wouldn't really help much, though. More of a small QoL patch than anything else.

Because its just an skin, the only diference that i can remember for all survivals is claudet that can transform in tall grass jus tdont make sense to lock survivals

I don’t see killer locks being an issue right now, time will tell.
However, the idea to have preset custom loadouts you can quick switch to I think would be beneficial, especially with the quantity of perks/add-ons/items/offerings in the game. I’d like to see this added, but for killers and survivors alike.

Wouldnt be any point in locking survivors lobby since all survivors are technically all mechanically the same.

Yeah I second it, it would be a good addition, especially since the perk, addon and offering menus are so slow to navigate thanks to cluttering.
They did, because they are just skins and Survivor MMR is global since they all play the exact same while Killer MMR is individual because their power and stats makes them very different.
I mean you are going to be as good as Survivor if you play Jeff or Meg or Nea or whoever, their differences are mininal if you get MMR ranking with one you get it with all, on the other hand playing Spirit is way too different from playing Nurse or Jigsaw, so they need isolated rankings for each Killer.
If you are a beast with Spirit you will be very high on the MMR ranking and facing the tough guys, then one day you want to try Hillbilly or Nurse, with individual MMRs you wont be facing the usual SWAT teams you face with Spirit, you will face lower ranked Survivors so you will have an easier time with a Killer you are still learning. For this system to work they need to lock the Killer before entering the queue.

Loadouts for killers would be very helpful. Especially for those last second switches. Half of the reason for a lobby is to form a strategy. 4 P3 Claudettes with flashlights means a very different match than a Jane, Ace, Baby Dwight, and Feng all with no items. Being able to quickly change loadouts when the four random characters suddenly switch to an immerse group with 3 flashlights and a key would be nice.

But survivors loadout aren't. They should lock it untill the "log issue" is solved, so that some, not all, but some survivors can't build accordingly to the killer that they'll face.

Because the survivors share their rating, and you dont get easier games depending on the survivor you queue up with.

E: Just read through the update and seems like the visual Rank is effectively meaningless for the matchmaking. Nice, that sounds really interesting!
A loadout would definitly help - being able to switch through different builds quickly depending on the Survivors items and skins / skin colour.

So solo survivors have no way at all to coordinate?

They don't have to lock survivors, but the items they bring. It should be impossible, to swap items at the ~20 second mark.

That has nothing to do with fairness or whatever. Just not sure about your responses because they are a bit vauge and misunderstandable. Killer ranking is unique per killer, that means, when you ready up with a killer, you will get a lobby for exactly this killer. It apparently was technically too difficult to solve it in another way than locking the killer. I thought about when you ready up as Wraith, you get a Wraith game, no matter what kIller you have selected when the heartbeat starts 5 seconds before the game starts. But that might also be confusing to newer players, why they suddenly get another killer than they have currently selected.
So killers have a technical reason to be locked (not yet, but as soon as MMR is available on all systems). And this is not relevant for survivors.
You will, like you probably have noticed since the change, not be able to see which killer you are facing (unless you are hacking)

Technically, survivors already have this option, just spread out among different skins. When I play survivor For example, I have my:
Stealth Build (Claudette), Gen Build (Feng), Meta Build (Ace), Meme Build (Kate), Totem Killer Build (Nancy), Killer Aura build (Yui), and Runner Build (ironically Meg).
Every time I lobby up, I can switch to any of these builds on a whim and even strategize with my teammates about it. funny enough, its the totem killer build that gets used the most because no one likes to chance a NOED activation. Killers however are more complicated, they used to be able to setup their builds on different killers and switch out in the lobby in response to what survivors they see and what items they bring in, but now they can't do that anymore, so giving the killers load out slots just feels like the right thing to do at this point. I'm not disagreeing with you, Load out slots for both killers and survivors is a good idea, but it basically just became an essential QoL change that's desperately needed for killers more than for survivors, since they can no longer change characters in the lobby.

'Cause we know that the solo survivors are the problem right?

I've got 3 matches with SWF using calm spirit (the three of them) wich we all know isn't even close to be a meta perk, but rather a niche perk, against my Oni (who's obviously running infectious) so...

Well, you would be locking their loadout too if survivor loadout gets locked. Or do you have another proposal?
0 -
I really don't see any problem on locking solo or SWF loadout, I've never swaped surivor or my perks before the match starts, just items and offerings. It really doesn't affect the gameplay. There's really no harm on locking survivors.

How is that related to why killers are locked and survivors not?

I think there should be a search box in the perk screen.
Like if I type in "Ove" it'll filter it down to Overcharge and Overwhelming Presence.
It's currently a pain in the butt to find the perks you want, especially considering perks are sorted alphabetically and then by rarity. Often I know what perks I want but I have trouble finding them in my perk screen an being able to search would make it so much easier.

You said "You will, like you probably have noticed since the change, not be able to see which killer you are facing (unless you are hacking)"
So I provided evidence that now that my Oni is locked, somehow survivors (suspiciously SWF) decided that calm spirit is meta so they're running it. 3 of them, the only ones who weren't running it were the poor solo survivors. Not suspicious at all.

Because you dont do it, noone needs to? That seems like a fair metric.
Lets disable swf, because i never play it (anymore), so noone needs it...
Yeah, i dont think thats how it works.
If i run plunderers instinct (which i do often) or Inner strength, i ask my fellow teammates if they themself run them, because some perks are just wasted in mutliples in a match, so no, i like to have the ability to switch out otherwise dead perks.

It's a big issue. How am I supposed to switch over to insidious Bubba when I suddenly get a TTV in my lobby now?

You can view which killer you're facing by checking the logs. So ya.. it happens. It doesn't require "hacking". It requires opening a file with notepad. lol
The devs know about it and just haven't fixed it. They've tried to obscure the text that tells you, instead of just not having it output at all. Dunno if they'll ever give it a real fix, sadly.
