Can we skip a couple of chapters and just have a major bug fix?

Now I like regular content drops as much as the next person but I think this meme of BHVR patching the game just to add even more bugs needs to be resolved?

My suggestion would be to skip maybe 2 chapters and take 6 months to have a massive overhaul on the game to fix bugs and optimise the game. I would imagine most of the community could agree on this that going a few months without new major content would be fine if it benefits the overall game health in the long-term.

Constantly breaking the game with 'patches' will eventually backfire on BHVR just like Fallout 76 did to Bethesda.

Some nostalgia for ya, d'you remember when the Devs used to patch game breaking bugs a week, at max, after they were reported? Now we have no audio at all for certain killers, no audio for downed or injured survivors, no footstep audio (even outside of chase), button prompt issues, hook issues, hitbox issues yada yada yada. If dbd was a person they'd be the most unhealthy sod in the world. We'd be forced to put him out of his misery.

These devs are so money hungry they can’t be bothered to even test cosmetics before sending them out (looking at you Minotaur). It’s ludicrous to think they would take 2 months,3months, 6 months of dedicated bug/optimization fixing.
