How do you see which player played which survivor?

If I'm not mistaken, there is a way to check in game which player is playing which survivor. Does anyone know how?

During the game press ESC and watch the names and the characters they are using. If everyone is using same character same cosmetic there is no way beside the changes on health and to keep a track of the names

Like the other person said, just hit Esc key and you will see which characters each player is using.
