Suggestion for the Survivor Friends Problem (And It Is One)

I suggest the following:

  1. Standard games for Rank do NOT allow groups to go in together, and all name info be stripped until the end of the game to prevent people from finding each other that way.
  2. Custom Games allow friends to play together against a willing Killer.
  3. Have a Survivor Friends League where they REGISTER a Team and play against Killers willing to take on that League, and where certain balancing buffs are given to the Killers to make up for the excess info.

    So pretty much delete SWF from normal matches?

    not going to happen, if they would do this the game would die pretty fast

    Yes, because the point of playing with your friends is supposed to be for the fun of playing with your friends, NOT for getting a competitive advantage. It is CHEATING. This method allows you to play with your friends in 2 out of 3 of the options. They can still do it. They just can't CHEAT. Are you saying if they Survivors can't CHEAT that they game will die? Fine, then up the Mori for Killers... no Nerfs... up it. Because the Killers have to have a way to counter this rampant cheating.

    Actually, it is. It cheats every Solo Survivor who can't compete in Rank because of the gravy train provided the friends. It cheats every Killer who has his every move tracked around the map as if the Entity issued all Survivors Seal Team-6 comms. It is nothing but an unethical approach to the game which already provided gestures, perks, and a variety of other means for Players to communicate within reason. You can lie to yourself and say you aren't cheating, but you KNOW you are. :)

    edit just for context: I am not even playing SWF most of the time and if so then only 2 man SWF talking about other stuff while playing. I just stated the fact that the devs of this game confirmed SWF using comms is not considered cheating

    SWF will not be banned. With that in mind there's two things that need to be done to fix the SWF issue. To make it fair on the survivor side, there needs to be VOIP (Not going to happen) and text chat (Not going to happen). To make it fair on the killer side, the game needs to be rebalanced with the assumption that survivors can communicate (Not going to happen).

    BHVR isn't exactly known for making the game better. You'll have to either put up with it or quit.
