I need advices for Legion

I have many questions.

I'm a survivor main, and a casual killer, I just play killer for fun. But Legion makes me wondering about so many question about strategies and gameplay.

I wish someone could answer me.

First one : With feral frenzy we can't make charged attack? Like the m1? Because it's so frustrating when I missed it because I don't evaluate the range correctly...

Second : is it better to respect or don't respect the pallets? We can use the dropped pallets with feral frenzy but I think it's better to take the stun, no? I think feral frenzy is good to fast vault the windows but I'm not sure for the pallets..

Third : when I used feral frenzy I can't see any scratch marks, is it a bug? Because what am I supposed to do?? I tried to activate feral frenzy in the last moment to make sure to hit the survivors but sometimes (when I faced red ranks while I'm green rank killer) they know I can't see scratch marks and it's very annoying...

Legion is the weakest killer I tried (Clown, Pyramid, Huntress, Myers, Deathslinger, Spirit, Wraith) but can't see the scratch marks while feral frenzy is too much....

1): In Feral Frenzy, Legion loses access to their lunge (charged attack). This is because it's a special attack, and those do not have lunges. It's annoying to get kicked out of Frenzy due to a miss (especially when Aim Dressing appeared to contribute), but otherwise survivors wouldn't really be able to try and juke the ability (before their rework, Legion could just spam Frenzy attacks with no cooldown between swings).

2): You do want to respect pallets unless you're playing against a survivor who uses that as bait (ie, they pause and continue looping instead of dropping the pallet). If they drop it early, you can vault it and hit them. If you have to take the stun to force the pallet down, well that's one less pallet. I haven't tried it in a while, but Legion also might be able to use Enduring to purposely take pallet stuns and exit Frenzy significantly faster (I'm not sure if this still works or if the Devs adjusted it for Legion). Taking the stun can be helpful if Frenzy is about to run out (pallet stuns are shorter than Frenzy Fatigue), but otherwise you are potentially throwing away your entire power meter.

3): Legion cannot see scratch marks while in Feral Frenzy. It's not a bug, it's just how their power works. This is why Frenzy is exclusively a chase ability and not a mobility power. You need to maintain line-of-sight as much as possible, and make predictions about where survivors have gone if they can break it. Scratch marks should return the second you enter Fatigue after Frenzy ends, but they don't always come back that fast.

Basically, you want to exert pressure on the survivors by constantly injuring them and then interrupting their heals. Use Frenzy to inflict Deep Wounds on one survivor and then see if Killer Instinct reveals any other nearby players. If possible, wound them too, but return towards where the first survivor was when Frenzy starts running out; you can often start a chase with an injured survivor who may have just finished mending in a bad spot (and wasn't expecting to see Legion back so soon).

Otherwise it's all about understanding how to just run basic chases well to secure a few downs and choosing when to abandon chase to pressure other players off of gens more effectively.

Legion's not top of the crop by any means and can struggle against coordinated survivor groups, but they aren't exactly worthless either. Legion also has the distinction of being the best Bloodpoint Generator in the game (it is pretty easy for them to max out most BP categories in a match).

There is a lunge during FF, it does take some getting used to. Keep practicing, youll stop missing eventually.

While in FF you want to respect pallets against a healthy survivor but you also want to trick them into throwing it, basically take a step back at the last second, they throw then you vault. A great perk for legion is enduring. Youre in ff chasing an injured survivor, eat the pallet stun. Yourecover super fast and skip the fatigue, now that injured survivor is in trouble cause you can down them.

Youre not supposed to see the scratch marks, this becomes less of a problem the more you play. Its about keeping them centered in the middle of your screen and having patience to wait for your shot

Dont be afraid to use FF to get across the map quickly to pressure gens

Legion CAN lunge while in frenzy and has a HUGE one because it scales with movement speed. I use it a lot to reach people that are about to vault.

Against good survivors wait for them to juke before swinging. Thats important for most killers but especially true due to the huge penalty missing an attack during ff can be.

Thanks for all the advices, I will keep trying Legion, I play him just for the bunny outfit so... I don't want to waste my money lol

But it's bad for me because I'm better with Legion when I only use FF to run to Gens than to chase survivors. Sometimes I feel like I can down survivors faster with 2 M1 than FF then M1.

360 are a thing too for Legion, loses a FF because red ranks 360 me... I turned with them but sometimes it missed. Misses a FF is sooooo bad for a Legion.

For my build I use gens regressions perks like thana, dying light etc because I can make injures fast with FF but I think enduring could me better for a Legion, maybe a pallet recover build with the spirit's perk?
